“FAR TOO MANY PEOPLE SUFFER FROM WOUNDS THAT DON’T HEAL. WE’RE PUTTING AN END TO THAT.”

Almost 5 million Americans suffer from chronic wounds caused by diabetes, venous and arterial disease of the lower extremities, pressure ulcers and traumatic injuries. That’s why Broward Health North opened the new, state-of-the-art Wound and Hyperbaric Center. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a treatment where a patient breathes 100% oxygen while enclosed in a pressurized chamber. More oxygen in the system helps promote faster healing.

LET'S GO BOATING! DRESSING FOR A DAY ON THE WATER By Elaine Simmons

Photo © James Stafford Photography

Your image of yachting

may be shaped by the movies you have seen that suggest that we should all wear blue blazers and deck shoes. This is appropriate in the marina and for ceremonial occasions, but not for actual boating. You should want to look great on the water, but when choosing clothing for your boating adventure keep in mind comfort and safety. Read on for a few boat clothing tips.

We may not look at fashion in a

Arrive with your swimsuit already on Space may be limited on the boat and the changing rooms are below deck in the toilet. They can be small and cramped, and if you get seasick you want to spend as little time in there as possible. A two-piece swimsuit is just as appropriate as a one piece, but a one piece doubles as a bodysuit as soon as you throw on a pair of shorts. Skirts and dresses are great cover-ups, but are otherwise a bad idea in windy conditions. If you arrive in your swimsuit, remember to bring underwear for after you take your wet suit off.

accomplishes many of the same things as art:

creative design, self-expression and a reflection of our culture.

Check the weather conditions Always be aware that when you are out on a boat, it can get cold or windy, and the sun can be blazingly hot; no matter what the forecast said, or what the weather was like before you left home. Take sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat, as well as something warm to throw on if it gets cold. The weather on the water can be at least 10 degrees cooler than on land. If you have long hair, remember a hair tie to keep your hair from blowing in your face.

Take a big bag Take an additional outfit with you, in the offon chance it might in frame thethat wall, butrain; fashion case you get wet, having a dry set of clothes will save the day. Taking a big bag will come in handy for this – a large bright tote can also carry all of your accessories, such as a beach towel, reading materials, and a straw hat to protect your face from the sun.

Choose the right footwear The right pair of shoes depends on the type of boating you plan to do. Wear shoes that you can slip on and off easily, but something with a little grip. Most boat owners do not allow you to wear heels on the deck and prefer you to wear shoes that they provide, or may ask you to go barefoot. Taking a pair of non-slip shoes and bringing a second pair is a smart idea, in case your feet get wet. Make sure they have light colored soles. Black soles can mark up the deck, are a big no no, and the first rule of boating etiquette. Another tip Choose to wear clothes that can be layered. With layering, you can take items off and put them back on, but you cannot produce extra clothes out on the water. Irrespective of the season you plan to go boating, the best outfit for boating is one that fulfills three objectives: feels good against your skin, keeps you at a comfortable temperature, and keeps you dry.

Refine your wardrobe with a bespoke shirt

hen you place your order at that upscale steak restaurant you’ve waited months to try and the waiter asks you how you’d like your filet – do you respond with, “However the chef wants to make it”? hen your contractor asks about customization for your new study – do you tell him, “Build it however you think is best”?

Guessing no to both questions. Why travel down the maker’s road your entire life when it comes to your clothing? A bespoke shirt is a refined piece to add to your wardrobe. 1) You can design your perfectly balanced collar – be it button down, hidden button, tab, modern collar, tuxedo or band.

2) The same holds true for your cuffs – the options are mind-boggling – from the standard one-button, two-button to French, angle cut and cufflink – you are in control. 3) A bespoke piece of clothing is measured and custom made for you – the shoulders and sleeves will match perfectly – as will the placket and sleeve pattern - additionally, the hem will be thinner than ready-to-wear thus staying tucked in without yanking and pulling. 4) How many times have you had to replace the cheap buttons on your dress shirts? Another distinction of having this piece tailor-made is you pick the buttons – easy to see mother-of-pearl has a longer life. That ‘perfect’ shirt may not be available off-the-rack – customization allows you the freedom of design. You may have been searching for that one particular shirt – stop and avail yourself of the services of a custom shirt tailor. The air of gentility will not go unnoticed.

Shining Star

home and work I have been the shining star for quite a long time. My husband is very unlike other husbands in that after 16 years of marriage he is still head over heels in love with me (seriously in his eyes the sun rises and sets because of me). At my previous job I was well known and well respected. Now I am moving to a new town, I have a new job, and have to start from scratch. You may be asking, What is the relationship between how my spouse feels towards me and my performance at work? I would say that there is a huge relationship. My husband’s feelings for me gives me confidence and security. Without his support I do not think I would have been as successful professionally.

I began my new job just a few weeks ago and have only had the opportunity to meet a few individuals thus far. I also needed to attend several conferences during my first few weeks. The first conference was small, so it was easy to reach out and make contact with new individuals. The second conference was a bit

different in that there were many individuals there and the people I was there to support were not even recognizable to me. When I entered the conference room for the first time I was overwhelmed, and immediately reached out to my husband to get the strength to even enter the room. I did find comfort after bumping into a few individuals that I knew from the past, and ultimately I was able to make many new connections over the next two days. To say that my conference experience was humbling was an understatement. Attending this conference did lead me to a new reality; it made me think of something that I did not even consider would happen: I am not the shining star anymore (or at least not yet). The question is, does that matter? I am still processing that. I did, however, realize that how my husband views me made me over confident and I was unable to foresee that the world did not view me in the same light. This experience made me take a step back and gave me a reality check. Additionally, the experience made me realize how lucky I am to have a strong support system at home. Even if I may not be a shining star in other people’s eyes, I am still a star in my husband’s eyes.

Fishing, teaching life skills through the ages

By Michael DiPierro When I first moved to the Pompano Beach area from Southeastern, PA, I remember doing a “double take” after reading on a restaurant menu that Pompano Beach, FL was named after the Florida Pompano fish (Trachinotus carolinus). I think the restaurant was the much-missed Fisherman’s Wharf on the Pompano Fishing Pier. Having been a transplant from Bucks County, I was not yet educated to the South Florida fishing culture and still had my doubts about the roots of the name. I can’t remember exactly when I started to believe the fish story, but at some point, it finally became truth to me. In Pennsylvania, I never doubted that an entire county would be named after an antlered animal; after all, many schools were closed on the first day of deer hunting season. In hindsight, I probably should have questioned both naming stories because only one of them turned out to be true. In researching this short article, the Pompano story is confirmed and apparently William Penn was not a hunter. Bucks County, Pennsylvania was name after Buckinghamshire, England, shattering at least twenty years of an unquestioned belief. I tell you this seemingly random and somewhat embarrassing story as a testament to the importance of education. Just as growing up in Bucks County connected me to “Penn’s Woods” and hunting, children in South Florida may experience a similar connection to the Atlantic Ocean and fishing. With that in mind, I maintain that the more children learn about fishing, the deeper their appreciation for this amazing area and its connection to the water will become. After all, Pompano Beach was named after a fish. The Florida Education Fishing Foundation, Inc. (FEFF) is a nonprofit organization created to teach our youth about fishing. Through learning about the ancient practice of fishing, children not

Pompano Today.com

only learn about fishing, they also gain transferable skills and knowledge fundamental to their development. Participants of the FEFF program learn about environmental stewardship, develop motor skills through casting and rigging, and enhance their academic talents by writing integrated learning journals. Furthermore, although not explicitly stated on the FEFF webpage, if the youth fish anything like I do, they will learn a great deal of patience and an appreciation for sightseeing. In addition to all the other benefits associated with participating in a FEFF clinic, children are issued their own rod and reel to keep. Past participants in the FEFF program include the Boys and Girls Club of Broward County, After School Programs, Inc., and the City of Pompano Beach, FL. Organizations interested in having FEFF put on a clinic should contact them at info@kidsfish.net. Additional information can be found on their website, kidsfish.net/ and their Facebook page, facebook.com/kidsfish.net.

Leading the sea change Five remarkable women who embody the past, present and future of Pompano Beach

I

t was a dark and stormy afternoon in Pompano Beach - sort of. Two things worked in our favor at our cover shoot for this issue: 1) the weather "mostly" cooperated and 2) we were lucky enough to be in the company of four incredibly accomplished women whose very presence lights up their surroundings.

We met up (took over?) the Rusty Hook Tavern and the Sands Harbor Resort and Marina, our plans to shoot the cover at Inlet Park having been deemed too risky, given the monsoon-like conditions earlier in the day. Although some of us were previously acquainted, it was the first time that Amy Ballon, Elaine Fitzgerald, Charlotte Sundquist, and Lisa Whitaker had the opportunity to meet in person. One never knows how such an episode might turn out, but luckily, we had nothing to worry about. Everyone instantly hit it off as if they were old friends. And why not? Each of these women has followed a similar career path, if said path can be described as "has always loved the water, learned the value of hard work at an early age, and has been driven by a passion to succeed since, probably, kindergarten. Or maybe preschool." We spent a few minutes discussing how we are all unofficial members of the Pompano Beach Admiration Society. What, we asked Lisa, makes Pompano so special? A resident of South Florida since the age of eight, Lisa thought for a moment and said, "It just feels good. I get off I95 at Atlantic Boulevard and just relax, as if the stress rolls off me...it's got that old Florida charm." Indeed. What IS that, we wonder, that "ahhhh...." that happens pretty much every time we cross the city line? Because we've felt it too, and we've heard it from others more times than we can count. Amy noted that "In addition to the vision of the future - it's intimate, charming, and has a sense of community that you don't find anywhere else."

"We build a dollhouse and watch the dollhouse come to life," is how Amy and Lisa describe their work. Wow! Can you imagine having more fun at work? We can't.

We asked Elaine what she thought. "I just like the high quality of life, the relaxed lifestyle; I think we have the right mix of all the things that can enrich our lives. It's a quiet, relaxing area that's close to all the action when you want it." Not that Elaine ever relaxes! With five Superior Small Lodging White Glove properties, 'relaxation' isn't part of her vocabulary.

Why was Pompano chosen for Sabbia Beach, we ask? Well. There's that Pompano charm working its magic again. It turns out that Danny Salvatore, the president and CEO of Fernbrook Homes (please see those breathtaking renderings of Sabbia Beach on page 32), has a home here, and fell in love with Pompano Beach.

Charlotte is a big fan of our small town charm, too, and is excited by all the signs of rejuvenation. For the uninitiated, Charlotte is a tireless supporter of the arts, and is continually coming up with new and exciting ways to ensure that we have a lively arts environment in our city.

"It makes you want to do the things that made you happy as a child," Lisa continues. "I think to myself, 'I want to go to the pier! I want to go get an ice cream!'" (Ed. note: For more about that "things that made you happy as a child", see Charlotte's column on page 25. Anyone have a boat for Charlotte?).

As to that "relaxing" feeling - we can't say that any of these women are specialists in relaxation. Amy Ballon, Lisa's partner at Hemisphere Sales Group, moved here from California (working for Jenny Craig) in 1989 without ever having been here. Since then, she's brought in hundreds of millions of dollars in deals (singlehandedly!) during her real estate career. Amy and Lisa are prime examples of making one's own luck. Long term colleagues, they won the first project they pitched as Hemisphere Sales Group.

"Yes" we all agree, nodding vigorously. "That's it!" The afternoon continued, the intensity of our conversations - and laughs increasing with the clouds, which once again rolled in overhead. The weather, however, made no difference. We had a beautiful and promising shelter from the storm, excellent company, and a city with a future that no passing storm can dampen in the least. What more can you ask for?

Cover photo, as well as photos on this and facing page, taken at the Rusty Hook Tavern and the Sands Harbor Resort and Marina - thanks for your hospitality! Facing page, top left: The unsung hero of scheduling, Ana Maria Colmenares of DurĂŠe & Company Public Relations/Marketing/Special Events. Ana Maria is on the left with, fittingly, her back to the camera; this is a behind-the-scenes heroine if ever we've met one.

(KAREN KARAM) We first interviewed Karen (photo, right) in September of 2011. Her family bought the Ebb Tide in 1999. Built in 1952 and expanded in 1965, the Ebb Tide is a shining example of the best of "Old Florida". The Ebb Tide has 24 rooms and apartments, and its relaxed atmosphere and quiet location is complimented by a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean. It offers affordable rates, including weekly rates and group rates, with all the modern day amenities. While we were sorry that Karen didn't join us for our fabulous afternoon photo shoot, we were glad that she was taking a well-earned vacation in an exotic locale. And we were thrilled by the opportunity to spend a stormy afternoon in the cozy confines of the Ebb Tide, chatting with this amazing woman that we are so lucky to have met way back when. Want to know more? Stop by the Ebb Tide - you're sure to run into Karen and she's always happy to chat!

Benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Charles Catoe, CHT/CHWS, Hyperbaric Safety Officer What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy? Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBOT) is a mode of therapy in which the patient breathes 100% oxygen (O2) at pressures greater than normal atmospheric (sea level) pressure. The patient is exposed to the same kind of pressure a SCUBA diver would experience at similar depths. How can Oxygen (O2) be a drug? The elevated pressure and increased percentage (100%) within the hyperbaric chamber results in a 10-15 fold oxygen increase in blood absorption, which help new blood vessels grow and helps the body’s own defenses fight infections that it normally could not. Why does the therapy take so long? TIME is our dose. The deeper you go and longer you stay, the more oxygen is absorbed into your tissues. It takes time to get to the pressure and only then does your treatment time begin; after you finish, we have to decompress back to the surface. What does it feel like? After the door closes, you will hear gas hissing, like a lot of wind, and feel pressure on your ears. The patient must “clear” this pressure by holding their nose and blowing air back through the nose or swallowing some water or tilting your head back. Just like a SCUBA diver or the same sensation you feel on an airplane, prior to take off. Once you reach the max pressure, you will no longer have to clear your ears and may now relax, watch TV, a movie, or even go to sleep. Are there any side effects? Some patients experience changes in eyesight. If your eyesight changes for the better or gets worse; not to worry, this too will return to pre-treatment levels around 3-4 weeks after your treatments end. Please keep all glasses or contact prescriptions the same.

Will I get claustrophobic? Our Sechrist 41” chambers are the largest single person chambers made in the world!!! They are constructed in the USA, of thick clear 1.5” acrylic with 3” steel plates and piping that have a pressure capability of 66 feet of sea water. Do not worry; water is not used in our chambers since they are compressed with 100% oxygen. The constant flow of oxygen gives the patient O2 to breathe, cools the chamber, and removes exhaled byproducts of respiration. Once on the bottom, we can control the flow to make it warmer or cooler, you get to decide. So please, tell us if you are hot or cold and we will adjust accordingly. What do I wear or bring to the center? Clothing will be provided to you once you arrive and we ask you wear only cotton undergarments with no perfumes or colognes. No makeup, lip gloss, hair gels or sprays are allowed either. Alcohol or petroleum products are not allowed in the chamber. Basically, we need you right out of your bath or shower!! This is for your safety as well as our staff. No electronics are allowed in the chamber. Please leave them at home or silence them off vibrate while you are in the chamber. Tasteful movies are allowed and we ask your respect for others when making your choice. What if I want to get out of the chamber? You are the boss; if at any time you wish to come out of the chamber, tell the staff immediately and you will be removed. However, it does take a few minutes to get you out, so please talk to staff while we bring you out and understand your safety is our main concern. How many treatments will I need? Everyone heals differently and the standard course is 20 treatments or one month; we then reassess your progress and decide how best to proceed, some take 60.

DRIVE DOWN A1A IN A CLASSIC

Are cars as collectible as art? Maybe! By Jay Ghanem Have you heard of the saying “art imitates life”? Well, Oscar Wilde - a well-known author from the 19th century – wrote, in his essay “The Decay of Lying”: “Life imitates Art far more than Art imitates Life”. What he really wanted to say is “the self-conscious aim of Life is to find expression, and that Art offers certain beautiful forms through which it may realise that energy”. Art takes on different characteristics and it can come in any shape or form. It can be an expression of our feelings, imaginations or just because! There is a thrill, a heightened emotion attached to art whether it is in the form of a sculpture, a wall painting, a body paint, or a car. Many who have achieved a certain material wealth start reflecting their success by amassing art pieces and classic cars. There are many variables that affect the value of the car. The most important factor is the rarity of the car, i.e. low production volume and of course the aesthetic design. Other contributing factors may be the nostalgia or the generation effect. Many of the collectors tend to identify with a specific car that maybe they couldn’t afford buying in their youth and yet see themselves in it… A car tends to be a reflection of its owner. When one purchases a vehicle, the first question that comes to mind is: Do I see myself driving this car? Is this me? And depending on the status and of course the “ego”, the car may end up being a collectible to mirror the social and economic status of its driver. Last year, for the first time in history, global sales of classic and collectible cars exceeded $1 billion. Cars are being treated as a collectible item and sold to the highest bidders at auction houses and on the internet. In the mid-August 2013-14 calendar year, 22 of the top-25 highest priced cars at auction were post-war sports, predominantly Ferraris but including two Ford GT40s, two Jaguars (a C- and a D-type), an Aston Martin DB3S and a McLaren F1.

(TOP TEN) The highest priced cars sold at auction worldwide

1962 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa- purchased in August 2014 for $38 million 1954 Mercedes- Benz W196- purchased in August 2011 for $29 million 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa - purchased in August 2011 for $17 million 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa - purchased in May 2009 for $13 million 1931 Bugatti Royale Kellner Coupe - purchased in November 1987for $20 million 1931 Bugatti Royale Berline De Voyage - purchased in June 1986 for $13 million 1957 Aston Martin DBR2 - purchased in May 1985 for $7.5 million 1934 Alfa Romeo Tipo B - purchased in April 1985 for $6 million 1936 Mercedes-Benz 500 K Roadster - purchased in July 1984 for $3.2 million 1933 Duesenberg Model J Victoria - purchased in September 1992 for $507,000 Is this the next collectible? Beginning production in 2016, the Ford GT arrives in select global markets to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ford GT race cars placing 1-2-3 at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans. Photo of the All-New Ford GT © 2015 The Ford Motor Company all rights reserved.

There are these collectors who can afford to drop seven or eight figures on a priceless auto. As to the latest figures, 70% of collectors are American followed by the European then Asian car enthusiasts. Yes, just like Jay Leno, there are many who share the love of cars, driving, self expression and art who would invest in these collectible cars and who will create special spaces - garages (Jay Leno’s is called the Big Dog) - to house these collectibles. If money is not an issue then why not! So, which car do you think would represent you at this time of your life? Is it the Lamborghini, the McLaren, or is it the Lexus or the Mercedes? Are you the collectible kind who appreciate the history of a car and values it as a machine or are you one who likes that latest model car with all its fancy gadgets? Ask yourself: Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What kind of car will you be driving and which art gallery would you like to visit?

A BOAT GIRL COMES FULL CIRCLE, ALMOST © giadophoto - Fotolia.com

By Charlotte Sundquist

I can wear boat shoes every day.

Sometimes I even get to go on boats. Unfortunately, when this happens, they are very rarely out in the ocean moving across waves. Like many other South Floridians, I work in the marine industry. When work related conversations start up, and I mention this fact the standard response goes something like this: "Wow! That must be great! You get to be out on the water all the time and get paid for it!?!" Uh, not so much.

build my character. And I remember his. He was cantankerous, and opinionated, and could rub people the wrong way. A true "salty dog", if you will. But he loved the sea, and everything about it.

It's much more likely that I'm visiting a builder's manufacturing plant, crawling through the engine hatch and taking measurements. I give presentations to purchasing agents. I get itchy from fiberglass. In my position, I have to know a lot about boats, but hardly have the time to go out on them.

My grandfather instilled that love of the sea into his children, and by default, it trickled down to us grandkids whether we wanted it to or not. And somehow, now, I'm in the very industry that builds boats. I think that's the epitome of a generation coming full circle. So thanks, grandpa.

In fact, when I consider many of my other marine colleagues, I don't find any of that boat excursion glamour. More than likely, they are turning wrenches, cleaning decks or sitting in front of computers trying to figure out how to increase performance by a knot or two. We rush to prepare for boat shows months in advance, and then welcome the general public with open arms so that they can buy boats. To go out on. And dive from. And fish off of. Without us. Sigh.

I'm currently in the market for a beat up old boat that doesn't run. But it will by the time I'm done with it.

I think that's the epitome of a generation coming full circle. So thanks, grandpa.

Below: Charlotte, hard at work and - maybe - not wearing boat shoes.

I love working in this industry in south Florida Now don't misunderstand me. I love working in this industry in South Florida. It is a very small community where everyone knows everyone. So regardless of what it is that we do on a daily basis, we all have a common goal of promoting boating and the quality of the lifestyle that goes with it. It's what we do. It's what we love. And yes, some of my co-workers do have boats. Ironically, if I think back to the amount of time I've spent helping to work on boats, it would far outweigh the time spent on the water. When I was growing up in the northeast, my grandfather and my dad were always buying another boat. That didn't run. They would spend nine months working on the engines and restoring teakwood decks on those old boats, just to spend two or three months cruising around the bay and actually fishing. And what happened the following year? They sold the boat and bought another one. That didn't run. So we could do the same process all over again. When I was a teenager, I remember complaining (okay, maybe even whining) to my grandfather. I didn't want to spend weekends stripping paint from a beat up old hull. He told me it built character, but that didn't help my mood at all at the time. Now that he's gone, I think back and have to say that he was right. It did

It was after I walked away from the table read of "How Sweet It Is"; we were at Paramount Studios, I was walking to the restaurant at the studio, and I called my wife and said to her, "Do you know what I do for a living?" That was the moment. What inspires your films? The desire to make a movies that people will enjoy and that I will be proud of. To stretch every dollar and extract the best out of everyone involved in the process, including myself. When did you realize you had reached your goals as a director/producer? My goals have not been met; I am happy with the progress and with the movies that we have made, but I can't be content. That is what keeps my drive alive. What was your favorite film to date and why? Pulp Fiction: it has everything. It is riveting and I can watch it over and over. What do you enjoy most about your career? I get to make movies; how cool is that? It is a roller coaster; sometimes it feels like you are on top of the world, and sometimes it feels like the world is on top of you. Can we expect a book from you?

WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE

Get a jump on the holiday season by doing your prep work now By Teana McDonald When you read that title what’s the first thing that comes to mind. Yep, me too, the song by Guns –N- Roses. Technically the “holidays” can be like the jungle, right? Every year it seems as if the holiday prep starts sooner rather than later. For example, Christmas in July? The entire thought of Christmas and July being in the same sentence drives me bananas. But I get it; the stores want to start planting the holiday seed in our heads. Let’s jump right in and talk about how to make it through the jungle: Fun & Games

You must add an element of fun You have to admit that the holidays are a fun and festive time, right? Most people seem to be in a great mood and it’s all about giving thanks, celebrating friends and family and creating memories. What are you doing for your staff to ensure that they are having fun during the season? We need our sales force to be on their ‘A’ game when they’re working and representing our products and services. I’ve talked about this before but I feel the need to remind you that you must add an element of fun by creating contests, playing sales games or simply bringing in lunch. I remember working in retail during my 20’s in the

Pompano Today.com

mall during the holiday season. The worst part about it was only receiving a 15 or 20-minute break. The food was on the other side of mall and the lines were ridiculous. Our manager ordered lunch during the holiday season to create less stress for the employees. A simple gesture like this will keep them happy and upbeat at work.

Your Jungle Journey Will End

Take It Day By Day

Lucky for us, the holidays eventually end and so will your journey through the holiday jungle. Remember it’s only for a season and your customers are shopping with you for a reason. Give them the best service you can and keep them coming back after the holidays are over.

Plan your holiday strategy early (like, now!) to maximize your sales Plan out your holiday strategy early (like now) to maximize your sales. Many retailers panic and over order inventory, having to cut prices to move the merchandise at the end of the season. Isn’t it better to sell out of an item and re-order it? Yes, it is, as long as you can guarantee it by the date requested. Break the season up into months and drive sales based on what’s trending in your industry for that month. For example, Thanksgiving would be a great time to focus on products and services that save time, bring the family together or create memories. A good friend shared her favorite saying with me this week: “poor preparation equals poor performance.” I couldn’t agree more.

Remember, it's only for a season, and your customers are shopping with you for a reason. Make sure you keep them coming back.

đ&#x;“Ž

Whether you boat, sail, snorkel, or just gaze out over the ocean - make time to enjoy our very own paradise every chance you get. Enjoy, and have a safe and happy October!

Sabbia Beach is the name of the outstanding new condo residences rising at 730 North Ocean Boulevard. Sabbia Beach bills itself as "ON THE OCEAN | OF THE OCEAN"; we'd simply bill it as "fabulous". The architectural design is by the worldrenowned Miami firm of Arquitectonica; Interiors by Steven G is designing the interior social spaces. Thanks to the developer, Fernbrook Florida LLP, we can look forward to welcoming this iconic space.
