Summary 16 Beneath the boundless Supramonte Vittorio Crobu The latest explorations carried out in S’Orale ‘e Su Mudrecu cave (named also VPF) are reported. VPF is located in the Flumineddu river, a karst canyon in Supramonte of Urzulei (Nuoro, Sardinia). From the bottom at 340 meters deep, the explorers have ascended an underground river with several sumps, some of them passed by free dive; after this exploration VPF cave has become 4657 meters long. Together with many other caves in the outskirts VPF is a branch of a karst system that leads to the big spring Su Gologone near Oliena.
30 Hot summers to Inverno Francesco Maurano, Berardino Bocchino, Gaetano Proietto The Grava d’Inverno, located in the Alburni Mounts (Salerno, Campania), is a cave explored many years ago used for training and caving courses until now. By chance last summer during a descent, at 120 m deep from the entrance, a new big passages have been discovered. These new explorations bring cave from 450 meters to 1400 meters long; the depth remains the same: -210 meters.
