ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS // INSTALACIONES ELÉCTRICAS The pieces that make part of this project, electrical outlets, fuse boxes, or light switches, are present both as image and reflection. These ordinary light supply devices are projected through another kind of device-box, and they are built with a process that is likewise needs light in order to generate the illusion of being in front of the real object. This object is absent, but the projection produced by this precarious projector contains its image. It is a reflection located in the place where the object should be, but lacks of utility being just an illusory creation, a drawing with light that keeps straight relationship with the referent, namely the light supply device. Las piezas que hacen parte de este proyecto, tomas eléctricas, cajas de tacos de luz o interruptores, están presentes como imagen y reflejo. Estos dispositivos cotidianos de suministro de luz, se proyectan a través de otro tipo de dispositivo-caja, construidos mediante un proceso que igualmente se vale de la luz para producir la ilusión de estar ante el objeto real. Éste se encuentra ausente, pero la proyección que produce un proyector precario contiene su imagen. Es un reflejo que se ubica en el lugar donde debería estar el objeto, pero su utilidad es deficiente al ser sólo una creación ilusoria, un dibujo con luz que guarda relación directa con el referente del cual parte, es decir con la instalación eléctrica.
