Grade 3 GDE Physical Education Participation

Mrs S.C. Monyai

Congratulations to the following Grade 3 learners who participated in a district PE celebration on Wednesday 9 August 2015: Kagiso Kganyago, Freddy Molekwa, Anathi Bubu, Lilitha Pase, Damita Angelides, Nomthi Matsoso and Jenny MacDonald. As experienced by Jenny MacDonald - It was an honour

to dance on stage with all my friends. The grade 3s were performing in a PE presentation. We were saying goodbye to Mrs Gibson. It was practise, practise, practise! But it was more than I imagined! It was a dream come true! It was the best experience I have ever had in my life. It does not matter how long it took, it was fun and that is what counts. Thank you very much Mrs Monyai. ANA Exams

Mrs J. Shee

Please take note that the 2015 Annual National Assessments schedules for September 2015, have been postponed until further notice.

Scholar Patrol

Mrs S.C. Monyai

All parents are reminded to obey our scholar patrol and cross at the correct crossing points. Stopping in the middle of the road to drop off or collect children is prohibited as it blocks the traffic and is a danger to the children. Please park your vehicles in the parking spaces on the pavement.

Read-a-Thon

Mrs J. Shee

Thank you to all our children, parents and staff for the hugely successful Read-a-Thon. It was a great day and our school was filled with spiders, pigs, sheep, horses and little farm boys and girls! Hooked on Books gave the children an excellent show to encourage and promote reading. Five copies of each story they enacted have been purchased by the school and are available from the Media Centre. We raised R47 061.00 which will, together with this year’s Big Walk money, go towards the staffroom upgrade. Thank you for your generosity.
