Thank you to the parents for your support and to all members of the audience during the various performances for your enthusiastic response to the children. We sincerely thank all parents and guardians for fetching their children at the specified times and for assisting us with not standing in the hall foyer, at the doors, etc. Your assistance made running the concert an absolute pleasure. Recycling

Mrs L. Eagle

Please keep up with recycling – our volumes have been considerably reduced this term, maybe because we have focused more on the concert?!

Now that the weather is turning colder, spare a thought for our recyclers who brave the chilly mornings. Thank you for your dedication, boys and girls, and the parents who bring them so early! Many bags of waste are brought to the school without having been sorted. It is no fun digging around through other people’s waste to sort it, especially when some of the waste is dirty and smelly! We even encountered some normal domestic waste, including disposable nappies – EEUW – not fun! Please check the contents of your waste, especially if you have someone else controlling the bags for disposal. Remember to wash out the containers first, and then sort as follows. Paper and cardboard together. Plastic, tins, polystyrene and glass must all be in its own separate bag or container. Remember – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle B.J. VAN NIEKERK Headmaster
