KENYA: OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH ZOE 2017 The ZOE empowerment ministry model for orphans and children is one our church believes in. We have already begun forming a team to return to Kenya in September and will be joining churches from around our Annual Conference to be actively involved in this Mission Bridge. Newnan First has committed to financially support a Working Group of children in Kenya over the next three years ($24,000 total--over and above general pledges). The actual partnership pledge process will continue through the month of May.

STAINED GLASS WINDOW PRESERVATION & RESTORATION The stained glass windows at Newnan First United Methodist Church are our most personal and easily identified historic treasures. It is time to replace the storm windows (protective coverings) and some of the windows themselves need restoration and repair. A project is now underway to perform the necessary preservation of these windows by Llorens Glass & Mirror Company of North Georgia. Llorens is a family-owned business and Frank Llorens (owner) is the son of Joseph Llorens, who took part in installing the original windows in 1928. There is an opportunity for members of Newnan FUMC to take part in and give to this project. To contribute to the general fund and/or sponsor the restoration of a specific window, please contact the finance office (olambert@newnanfumc.org or 770.253.7400 x207) or Bob McKoon, Trustees Chairperson (rum1947@numail.org or 770.328.7553). Thank you!
