If interested, call Karen (770.253.7400 x206) SUNTRUST STADIUM TOUR: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 11 | 9:30am-3:30pm | Cost: $20 | Sign up by March 28 | Enjoy this 90-minute tour of the new SunTrust Braves Stadium. Sit in the dugout and see what the players see during a game. Check out the Press Box. Hear about the Braves and see all that the Stadium has to offer. After the tour lunch will be in the Battery – the new dining and shopping experience just outside the Stadium. SHRINE OF THE MOST BLESSED SACRAMENT: MONDAY, MAY 7 | 8:30am6:00pm | Cost: $15 (travel and donation to the Shrine) | Sign up by April 16 | The Shrine was built by Mother Angelica, a Poor Clare Nun, in response to the Child Jesus’ request that she build Him a “Temple.” People are invited from all walks of life and faith to see what the Lord has accomplished. Our trip will include a tour of this amazing campus. The Shrine consists of: Cloistered Monastery, beautiful Upper and Lower Churches, replica of the Shroud of Turin, Stations of the Cross, Religious statues and paintings, near life-sized Nativity scene and more! The trip does not end there. It will continue to the Ave Maria Grotto, known as “Jerusalem in Miniature”. It is a 4 acre setting for 125 miniature reproductions of some of the most famous historic buildings and shrines of the world – located in Cullman, AL. Lunch will be somewhere nearby these 2 locations.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS

Jesus traveled a journey of prayer, forgiveness, reflections, anguish and renewal on His journey to the cross where He made the ultimate sacrifice for each of us. Come and reflect on His journey through the Stations of the Cross. This is a mini pilgrimage of Jesus’ journey located in the Narthex. Take the time to reflect. It will be up Palm Sunday through Good Friday. During office hours, Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Good Friday. 2

DEALING WITH DEMENTIA 1 in 6 women and 1 in 10 men, over the age of 55, will have Dementia. With those statistics, chances are you have a family member or close friend who is living with, or will be learning how to live with, the Disease. The Dealing with Dementia program is one of the most comprehensive programs on understanding Dementia and how to best help the person, family member and even the professional understand the disease. If you are just wanting more information about the disease or are a caregiver, you will want to attend this event. Each attendee will go home with new knowledge and a wonderful 350-page guidebook of real life, hands on, easy to access information. Facilitator is Beth Dow, Dementia and Alzheimer’s Educator, CAEd; Geriatric Case Manager and Certified Senior Advisor.

This coming Easter Sunday, in an effort to maximize on site parking for guests and those with small children, we are encouraging families who are able to park in the Justice Center parking lot located on Greenville Street, just a block down from the church. We will be running a shuttle bus from the Justice Center to the church beginning at 9:30am until the 10:55 and 11:00am services conclude. Drop-off will be at the covered walkway by Matrix Insurance. Thank you!

UTH FAMFEST REMINDERS

The youth will be heading to CJ Smith Park this weekend for FamFest, our local outreach to the Farmer Street community. Choir will start 30 minutes early (4:00pm for Ensemble and 4:30 for UTH Choir). Students can ride the bus at 5:30 pm to the park. Students who are not in choir who wish to help can come to the church early at 4:00pm to help load up equipment and cook hot dogs. Students can also meet us at the park as early as 5:30pm. Parents can pick up their students at CJ Smith park between 7:30 and 7:45 or the bus will return them to the church for pickup by 8pm. In case of rain, regular youth times will apply.
