SYMPATHY

Christian sympathy is extended to the family of Sally Taylor for the death of her mother.

TO OUR YOUTH CHOIR: We were blessed to be part of the Youth Choir Tour last week. The youth and the adults who performed with them were marvelous. The home hosting experience was delightful and I haven’t heard anything other than that same description from anyone who hosted. One member of our Sunday School class, who admittedly knows nothing about music, and admits he was at the concert “only because we were hosting and my wife said I had to go,” - told the rest of us on Sunday that he really, really enjoyed the concert and was very impressed by the youth. This is a man who taught and coached many years, so he’s been around youth for many years. I hope all arrived back in Newnan with full hearts, even if they were a bit worn. And now everyone is back to their usual summer schedules, but know that we in Elkhart, IN, will not soon forget the blessing of their visit. My special regards to Sam Madaris and Craig Bryan... hope I got their names right. Tell them Buddy says “Hi.” Thank you for what you do at Newnan FUMC to show God’s love and to live as examples of Christ. In Him, Edna Trinity United Methodist Church Elkhart, IN
