First performed in 1862, The Pharoah’s Daughter was dropped from the repertory for more than one hundred years until Bolshoi Ballet commissioned Pierre Lacotte to breathe new life into the story for the twenty-first century.

Laurent Pelly’s acclaimed production of Donizetti’s opera radiates tenderness, humour and southern sunshine, starring Vittorio Grigolo, Lucy Crowe and Bryn Terfel.

La Bayadère is one of Marius Petipa’s greatest works – a tale of passion, betrayal and redemption set in India. The ballet was first performed in St Petersburg in 1877. Now the Bolshoi Ballet, one of Russia’s greatest companies, brings its stunning production to the Royal Opera House, commemorating 50 years since the company first performed in Covent Garden.

Warren Miller’s 2014 film, No Turning Back, pays homage to the 65 years of mountain culture and adventure filmmaking that has lead WME to every end of the winter world. We’re taking a legacy that dates back to before skis had edges and mountains had condos and we’re running with it to the steepest peaks around the globe and back to the Mom and Pop hills that define skiing and riding.
