TISB does not calculate a GPA. Students take Assessments and End of Term Examinations. All test papers are set at very high standards and are graded at IGCSE or IBDP levels.

In Grades 9 and 10 the IGCSE scale of A* to F is used

In Grades 11 and 12 the IBDP scale of 7 - 1 is applied.

All internal exams are standalone, and reports are generated for End of Term Examinations.

Grading boundaries for Board examinations (IGCSE and IB Diploma) are set by the respective examination body Internal grading boundaries are as follows:

6/A* 75%+

This year grade boundaries for Grade 11 End of Year Examinations and Preliminary Internal Examinations were lowered by approximately 3-9% for a few subjects following moderation of marked papers which were set to higher-than-normal standards and to better align with IBDP grade boundaries

Predicted Grades are based on various assessments and examinations sch Grade 11. The following formula is used to calculate the Predicted Grades:

Grade 11
