Aims & Benefits EDU Management Training Programme is intended for education management personnel with solid practical experience in management and those looking for developing the education management competence. The programme is run for teams of five (5) participants in optimum. TAKK combines the best elements of a popular and practical vocational training programme ”JET”, the Specialist Qualification in Management (requirements by the Finnish National Board of Education) in order to develop both the individual and organizational management competence in education. In the pedagogical framework of the programme, management is an activity, where managing operations and leading people - combined with developing one´s own leadership form an integrated whole.

Implementation In EDU Management Training Programme every participating manager/director develops his/her educational competence with an equivalent manager/director in TAKK during the training period on a job shadowing principle. The individual study plan for each participant makes sure that the individual and organizational needs are met. The goal is to achieve such competence that can be used and applied in home organization for developing the participant’s sectoral training services.
