What is 21st Century Pedagogy? • 21st century pedagogy aims to develop the skills and knowledge students need to succeed in work, life and citizenship. • 21st century skills can be applied in all subject areas, and in all educational, career, and civic settings throughout a student’s life.
• Schools need to implement new ways of teaching that reflect a changing world. • Teachers should use inschool time to teach students how to find, interpret, and use information, rather than just present information.

Educational change The key to successful educational change is to link two sets of strategies: teacher development and school development.

The Kazakhstan-Finnish Education and Innovation Group, KFEIG – is the Consortium of four Finnish educational institutions: Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK), JAMK University of Applied Sciences (JAMK), Lahti University of Applied Sciences (LAMK) and Tampere Adult Education Centre (TAKK).
The KFEIG Consortium focuses on training professionals in response to labor market needs and on conducting research and development. The Consortium provides Bachelor’s and Master’s level degree education, open studies, continuing education, competence-based vocational secondary education and consultation services.
