“[Tragos Quest to Greece] is incredible and well worth the time it took to apply and prepare for the journey. It truly is a life-changing and unforgettable experience. You get the incredible chance to learn about Greek culture and philosophy, make meaningful bonds with the other scholars and mentors, and reflect on your own life and values.”

“The Ruck Leadership Institute prepared me to go back to my chapter and inspire all of our members to want to pursue excellence to a higher degree. I have learned a lot about what kind of leader I am, and how I can enact changes in my life to strengthen my leadership abilities and become a bigger asset to my chapter and my community.”

“Remember what it gave you when you were in school and think about what you can give to those who are in that position now.”

“The most impactful aspects of Tragos Quest were the evening discussions and the journaling. It allowed me to reflect on my past experiences and really get a chance to understand myself as a man in my life.”

“I feel more prepared than ever to take on the duties of president, and I’m beyond excited to bring back all the knowledge I’ve learned to my chapter.”

YOUR IMPAC T IN 2023

Your support makes SigEp’s impact on today’s college men possible. By investing in our 12,000 young brothers, you are reaching new generations of young men with the powerful experience of Sigma Phi Epsilon. Your support is critical in helping SigEp men build relationships, find purpose and understand their potential, develop a sound mind and sound body and clarify their values through our Ritual. In 2022–2023, SigEp donors like you gave over $4 million to support the growth and development of the 12,000 young men of our Fraternity.

Young men in 2024 desperately need what our chapters provide: • communities of high-achieving young men built on meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging; • mentorship from their peers and alumni volunteers; and • access to SigEp’s life-changing leadership programs — Carlson Leadership Academies, Ruck Leadership Institute, Tragos Quest to Greece, Grand Chapter Conclave, Career Coaching, Springboard, Life After College — despite rising costs. Whether you’re passionate about addressing the growing mental wellness crisis on college campuses, recruiting more volunteer mentors or ensuring access to these programs, your investment is critical.

Thank you. Fraternally,

Brian Warren, Virginia ’04 CEO

Sam Richards, Marshall ’25, was initially skeptical about joining a fraternity. But the goals, tenets and obvious brotherhood at West Virginia Gamma assured him that this Fraternity would be different. Sam’s brothers hold him accountable to his school work, and being part of SigEp has given him the opportunity to branch out on campus. Sam stands by the value of SigEp experience, so he stepped up to lead. “I wish everyone could have the SigEp experience, and I recognized that there was a chance I could share the SigEp experience with more people as VP of Recruitment.”

“In meeting members from other chapters like ours and visiting those nearby, I can say that they really embody the values of the Grand Chapter.”

Total Ruck Scholars in 2023:

154 brothers from 94 chapters Sam attended Ruck Leadership Institute in 2023. On the drive home from Richmond, Sam and chapter brother Wallace Payne, Marshall ’24, were already planning how to implement what they learned within their chapter. As chaplain for West Virginia Gamma, Sam focuses on helping all his chapter brothers get the support they need. He is also attuned to the needs of other chapters.

Today’s college men need SigEp, and your support helps SigEp build a bigger and better experience for all of our young brothers. Chapter leaders need programs like Ruck and Carlson Leadership Academies to hone their skills and develop supportive relationships with one another. And every chapter needs continual support from volunteers. “One of the ideals that SigEp instills in its members is continuous development. I can tell that I am never going to be satiated and will always have goals I mean to achieve.” Our Fraternity can commit to continuous development too, because donors like you continue to invest in the programs and support today’s college students need. Thank you.
