w2608q résidence d’échange transcanadien entre Martha street studio (winnipeg) et l’atelier graff (Montréal) automne 2015.

w2608q c’est winnipeg, Québec et les kilomètres qui relient les deux villes. Le format du titre réfère à celui d’une plaque de voiture puisque le trajet a été parcouru en auto seule depuis québec. Cette série de sérigraphies raconte le trajet au travers de textures et couleurs perçues dans le paysage. Elle font état d’une structure présente en continu, une certitude. Les formes, plus libres font référence à un cheminement intérieur, les ovales obtenus par déchirure du papier sont proche d’un laisser-aller. Les textes racontent certains faits vécus sur la route et à WInnipeg. Au cours de la route, un arrêt a été effectué tous les 101km afin de prendre le pouls de l’endroit et un 360° de photos. cette rythmique a inscrit le parcours dans une séquence iterrative où l’on avance un peu à chaque cycle complété. The title refers to the driving licence’s plate since i drove the journey by car from Quebec city. This scrintprinted artworks tells the journey’s lanscape through textures and colors. they talk about a constant structure, a certitude. Shapes, more free refers to an inner path, oval forms obtained by tearing the paper are close toa sloppiness. The texts tell some lived facts on the road and inWInnipeg. During the road, one stop was made each 101km to have a look at the place and take a 360 °. this rhythmic recorded the path in an iterrative sequence where we go further a little more once cycle is completed.
