A 40 PROJET réalisé en collaboration avec la joaillière Isabelle GÉréec durant l’Été 2015. SÉrie d’oeuvres en arts imprimés + bijoux contemporains.
A 40 C’EST UNE collecte d’images sur l’autoroute 40 qui relie Montréal à Québec. C’est une volonté de collaborer, de trouver un espace de création et un vocabulaire commun. ayant chacune parcouru ce trajet un nombre de fois incalculable durant les derniers 18 mois, c’est devenu notre canevas. Un univers plat, une genre de longue parenthèse entre deux instants, deux villes : ce non-lieu serait le fil conducteur. Nous avons conjointement créé les designs des bijoux ainsi que les formes et couleurs. Chacune apportant son expertise, la série unique a 40 est née. Ce sont donc 100 clichés FORMAT POLAROÏD sérigraphiés ainsi que 10 tableaux DE BOIS sérigraphiés avec des pièces uniques portables qui forment la collection. Il existe également une série de bagues, colliers et boucles d’oreilles qui sont vendues seules. LES MOTIFS CRÉÉS ONT ÉTÉ CONSTRUITS AVEC DES éléments RÉELS provenant de l ’in situ. A 40 IS A collection of images on Highway 40 that connects Montreal to Quebec CITY. It is BORN FROM A WISH to work together, to find a creative space and a common vocabulary. each OF US haS MADE THIS JOURNEY countless times during the last 18 months, SO it has become our canvas. A flat ROAD, a kind of long parenthesis between two moments, both cities: this NON-PLACE would be the thread. We created ALL the jewelry designs, shapes and colors TOGETHER. Each bringing its expertise, SO unique serie 40 IS born. 100 silkscreened CLICHÉS POLAROID and 10 screenprinted WOODFRAMES with portable unique pieces OF CONTEMPORARY JEWELLERY ARE the A 40 collection. There are also a serie of rings, necklaces and earrings sold singly. THE PATTERNS WERE BUILT WITH REAL elements from the in situ.
