PRE-SCHOOL NEWS We have been continuing to explore our senses and what a smelly week we have had! Pre-School have been using our noses to smell a variety of different smells. We have smelt herbs and spices and had lots of sneezing! We got to make some smelly pictures using these, please come and see our smelly display in Pre-School. The children have also had fun creating a picture of their bodies concentrating on their five senses. They got to practice their pencil control and all wrote and formed letters making some brilliant labels on their work. Have a great weekend from the Pre-school teamÂ

LUNCHTIME SUPERSTAR AWARD Congratulations to

Christopher Ellison for trying new dishes

MAPPING THE UK WITH YEAR 2 During our humanities class we continued our Geography lesson using Atlases to find out about the four countries of the United Kingdom. We learnt about the capitals of each country and found out the seas that surrounded them. We had a Terrific Tour Guide worksheet and each child in the class chose one of the four member countries of the UK to find out their longest river and highest point. We also learnt how to draw their flag and national symbol. After finding out other facts of each country, Harry showed us his kilt and sporran! Thank you children for working hard. - Mrs Haseler
