How do we know all this? The Bible was written in such a way that all can know the truth of the Gospel through it. It is understandable, the truth is not hidden. There is no secret mystical meaning that only some can know, and there is no hidden code.

Do you read the Bible as if it were understandable or do you avoid reading it because you think you need someone else to tell you what God has put in His word?

What, in your own Scripture reading recently, have you found difficult to understand? Discuss this as a group/family and see if together you can work towards a clearer understanding.

If the Bibles message of salvation is clear so that all may understand through the Holy Spirit, how should this affect the way we engage in the work of making disciples?
