How Does the story end? Jesus will return and when He does so, He will rule for 1000 years. After the 1000 years He will restore all that was broken in the fall, and we will live with Him forever.

Sometimes end times discussion can viewed as unnecessary for how we live now. But all of Scripture is useful for living a “good life before God”. Discuss how this week’s truth should affect how we live right now as Jesus disciples?

One of the main affects this message of truth is intended to produce in Jesus followers is that Jesus return becomes our ultimate hope in life. Do you find yourself looking forward to Jesus’ return? Why/why not?

Knowing that our ultimate hope is not found in this life but in eternity with Jesus helps us to put our priorities in perspective. What are some things you have been worried or obsessed with that matter far less when viewed from this perspective?

Knowing that Jesus could return at any time gives us a sense of urgency to the work of making disciples. Who in your life have you been intending to proclaim the Gospel to but haven’t gotten around to yet? As a group/ family pray that God opens an opportunity to shar His son Jesus with them this week.
