Youth Programs Karate Join an authentic orthodox Karatedo class! Your instructor, Takao Nakaya, is also the author of the book Karatedo: History and Philosophy. This class strives to build self-esteem, self-discipline, and confidence. It also provides a good workout while learning the traditional art of self-defense. Skyhawks Basketball Camp Skyhawks Basketball Camp is a fun, skill intensive program designed with the beginning to intermediate players in mind. Skyhawks Volleyball Camp Skyhawks Volleyball takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it together into one fun filled camp. This co-ed program is designed for the beginning and intermediate player. Staff will assist each athlete in developing fundamental skills through game-speed drills and daily scrimmages aimed at developing the whole player. Skyhawks Track & Field Camp Skyhawks Track & Field was developed to introduce young athletes to this sport rich in tradition and history. Using special equipment, our staff teaches exercises and drills that prepare athletes for a future in cross-country, track & field events, and distance running while inspiring a love for running and being active. Mini Hawk Multi-Sport Camp This multi-sport program gives children a positive first step in sports. Baseball, Basketball, Flag Football, and Soccer are taught in a safe, structured environment with lots of encouragement and a big focus on FUN. The activities will emphasize balance, movement, hand/eye coordination, and skill development. Skyhawks staff are trained to handle the specific needs young athletes. This multi-sport Camp is designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports in one setting. For this program we combine dodgeball, ultimate frisbee, kickball, and capture the flag into one fun filled week. Athletes will learn the rules & essentials of each sport though skill- based games and scrimmages.

FITNESS FLOOR RULES Age Restrictions: No one under the age of 9 is permitted on the Fitness Floor. Please use Adventure Land. All youth ages 9-15 must complete the following: Fitness Floor Orientation by a trained staff member Have a permission form on file signed by parent or guardian In addition: Ages 9-13 must be within arm's reach of a parent while on the Fitness Floor.

Collars are mandatory for all barbell lifts. Spotters are required for all heavy lifts in the free weight area. Equipment may not be rearranged or moved. Weights are not to be banged together or dropped on floor. Weights should be returned to appropriate racks. Weights are not to be leaned against equipment, walls, or columns. Personal gym bags should remain in lockers. Drinks must be in a spill-proof container. No gum, food, or glass. Proper attire must be worn. Only authorized Thrive team members are allowed to conduct personal training. Wipe down equipment before and after each use.

Little Whales Camp Parents look no further! This camp is offered to children to learn about water safety both in the water and classroom. Each day of camp the kiddos will have a water portion and a land portion. They will use the water lesson to apply what they learned on land. The importance of this is to learn more than just how to swim but how to apply the water safety knowledge to real life situations.
