Adventures in Art Camp

**Thrive membership is required in order to participate in all programs held at Thrive**

In this four-day workshop your artist will complete eight amazing works of art including landscapes and seascapes, animals, florals using fine art principles not simple crafts. Young artists will explore perspective drawing with charcoal, oil pastels and painting with acrylics and watercolors taught by a Certified Robert Garden Instructor.

A one-time $65 supply fee is due directly to the instructor on the first day of camp. Please provide a snack for your participant per day.

We’ll be accepting bands of all genres to compete for the chance to thrill the audience. Auditions will be held in early June. Wild About LLELA Summer Camp

Wild About LLELA is an active outdoor summer day camp where kids ages 7-12 have a chance to delve into and connect with nature. Throughout the week, kids will enjoy hiking, birding, animal ID, and kayaking (conditions permitting) while exploring the flora and fauna of the Nature Preserve. Registration ends May 31.

The Hive Online Training

The Hive, the Library’s makerspace, features specialized equipment and software to help inspire learning, creativity, and creation. Training is required before a patron may use some of the equipment. The Hive staff have created online training modules to help patrons new to The Hive learn the equipment, and to help those who haven’t visited in a while to refresh their knowledge.
