1.1 Founder's Message Greetings from BNLC! It was in the year- 2000 that God inspired me to establish Bethel New Life College (BNLC) with the passion to educate students theologically and to empower them in leadership and enrich them for the Christian Ministry. Candidates who have an interest in Christian ministry are welcome to BNLC. I believe that all those who join BNLC for theological study will be adequately trained for Christian ministry. BNLC's convictions are fundamentally evangelical; we believe in the uniqueness of Jesus Christ and the authority of the Bible. We have highly qualified and competent faculty in addition to the finest facilities suitable for learning. The graduates of BNLC are now serving as Evangelists, Pastors and crosscultural Ministers in almost all the states of India and across the globe. BNLC seeks to encourage one another to maturity in the knowledge of Christ, and pursuit of truth. We also desire for students to foster caring relationships in their class settings, in the wider community and in all other areas of life. Emphasis is stressed on spiritual development and emotional maturity which will prepare students for their future ministry. BNLC helps students in cross cultural ministry through various established missionary agencies and churches. 1.4. Vision The vision of BNLC is “to offer sound Biblical teaching for men and women in the evangelical faith through which we aim to reach South Asia and the globe in extend with the Christian message of the love of Christ. 1.5. Mission The mission of BNLC is to extend the influence of the kingdom of God and to glorify Jesus Christ by training those who have a specific call and commitment for the Christian ministry. We equip godly servants of

God for proclaiming God's word, by which we aim to strengthen the body of Christ. BNLC intends to equip men and women to achieve Christian ministry cross - culturally for south Asia and the world in extent. 1.6. Campus Life The campus life at BNLC is built on the foundation of shared spiritual values as well as a growing passion and commitment to follow God. The community life is designed to foster a vibrant spirituality in order to develop an ideal Christian lifestyle. BNLC's campus life is infused with a pursuit of spiritual formation, academic excellence and personality development. We desire to achieve these tasks by integrating academic excellence with spiritual formation. The spiritual life is molded and strengthened by different spiritual activities such as chapel services, family fellowships, discipleship groups, dawn and dusk prayers, weekly fasting prayers, mission and spiritual emphasis week. BNLC exists to transform the students' life and character through the teaching of God's Word. The College management takes all necessary decisions adequately to discipline each student since maintaining a safe and positive environment is a priority of the institution. All the students are required to obey the rules and regulations of the college. Student Handbook explicitly explains all the responsibilities and disciplinary guidelines of the college.

5.4. Statement of Faith There is one God, existing eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (John 10:30; John 14:26; Philippians 2:5-7) The Bible is the infallible Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and contains every answer to man's problems. (2 Peter 1:20, 21; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17) . God is Love and He loves all people. It is His desire to reach out to those who are poor, oppressed, widowed or orphaned, and to heal the brokenhearted. (1 John 4:16, Psalm 68:5, 6). Man is created in the image of God but separated from God by sin. Without Jesus we cannot have a relationship with God. (1Timothy 2:5, Genesis 1:26). A personal relationship with God through salvation is the plan of God. Nobody can change anyone unless through God's unearned favor for transformation. By admitting we have sinned and believing in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, and accepting Him as Lord, we can have eternal life with God. (Romans 3:24, Ephesians 2:8, 9, Romans 5:1). Water baptism is necessary and is taught and demonstrated by Jesus as the way for believers to identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. (Romans 6:4, Matthew 3:13-17, Matthew 28:19). The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God and it is necessary for our

spiritual growth. God develops in us the character of Christ and to live every day in God's will. (Acts 2:4, Matthew 3:11). Spiritual gifts are the blessings of the Lord. It is intended for the edification of God's people (the Church) and an evidence of God's existence and power to unbelievers. The gifts of the Spirit are active and relevant today. (1 Peter 4:10, 1 Corinthians 12:4-11) It is necessary to allow the ongoing process of God's character in us for our Sanctification. (Galatians 5:22-25, Romans 6:19). Divine healing is a reality which is an active work of Jesus in lives. The Bible says God is the Healer. Healing includes physical, mental, emotional and spiritual restitution. (Matthew 10:1, Luke 9:11, Matthew 9:35, Acts 10:38) . Hell is a real place according to the Bible. It is a place of permanent separation from God where there is much suffering and is meant for those who die without accepting Christ. However God desires that no one be separated from Him for eternity, which is why He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to the earth. (Revelation 20:12-15, Hebrews 9:27, John 3:16-18). Jesus will come back and take all those who have accepted Him as Savior to be with Him for eternity. (Acts 1:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, Hebrews 9:28).
