Pastor. E.d. Chelladurai Pastor. E.d. Chelladurai served God with Operation Mobilization for 12 Years as a All India Bible Teacher. For the last 29 years he he has been working as a NIV Bible Translator of Tamil and Kannada languages in Biblica the International Bible Society. For about 6 years He led an Independent Church in their Tamil and Kannada Services. is
all
about
a
transformation which starts within a
person.
Revival
begins
in
a
believer’s life when he or she is made alive in Christ. It is the spirit of
God,
the
Holy
Spirit
who
quickens us and makes us alive. God expects a new birth in us or new
creation
experience
in
us
before a revival. Therefore, let us pray to God for a transformation if you really want a revival. Let us pray “Create in me a pure heart, O God, Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me and renew a steadfast spirit
within
me”
(Psalm
51.10).
When we humble ourselves and submit to the will of the Holy Spirit then true revival happens. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and
purify
us
from
all
unrighteousness” (1 John 1.9).

God
needs
such
humble
and
transformed hearts for revival. Hence the Bible says “If My people, who are called
by
My
name,
shall
humble
themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles
7:14).
Only
those
who
recognise God’s transformation work in them and yield themselves to God’s guidance can ignite the same revival to one another. Let us read more on the theme "REVIVAL" as you flip on the pages.

E
ight years ago, as I
was visiting Notre Dame Cathedral and other monuments as part of a sightseeing tour of Paris, France, during a business trip, beyond the architectural beauty and historical significance of the Cathedral and other churches that have been converted to museums and monuments, something else was moving in my spirit. Later that week, as I was returning back, by flight, questions started to rise up in me. Why Lord, what has happened to these places? What has happened to the people? The belief, the culture and faith on which these nations were built. This started a quest in my spirit and continued to stir in me as I visited other socalled “Christian nations in Europe, the United Kingdom and the West.

I saw numerous church doors closed and congregations diminished to a few. Some are even opened as museums or mere points of tourist attractions. But the life that once inhabited the walls on these places have died. Faith in God, value of life and family are belittled to change of perspectives which eventually results in the destruction of individual life, family, community and nations. Sin, curse, and crime are increasing drastically. Politicians are betraying the people’s trust in exchange of fame, money and power. What is the solution? What can be done? What can I do throughout my life? What's my calling? Why is God sending me to the nations and showing these things and putting a fire in me? As I was praying in the Spirit, I heard this word - REVIVAL, an awakening with the power of the Holy Spirit. A grassroots level revival across the towns, counties and cities of the nation.The gospel of Jesus can change nations once again. And later as I moved to Canada, God revealed the calling in my life about a revival in this nation and beyond this nation, which resulted in the formation of a revival movement called as Ark of God Canada, a revival movement based in Canada.

2 Chronicles 7:14 - if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. This is not just about a gathering and corporate events orchestrated using modern media and technology with unlimited resources. But, this is about a genuine raw revival through prayer, the word of God and the Holy Spirit. A real transformation of individuals, families, communities and nations. True, genuine, raw revival starts within the heart of any individual dedicating himself or herself to the true purpose of how God has intended him or her to be used in His way for a Revival. The number one key to experiencing the Revival starts , as you start prayer on your knees. Being purposeful and dedicated to prayer - not for the needs of daily life (food, clothing, job, family, children, health etc). However, to be focused on God while being on your knees, letting go of EVERY distraction, seeking God’s intervention for a town, community, city, country, continent and eventually the entire human kind. God’s purpose for sending Jesus Christ to this world was to save His creation back to the original purpose they were created to be-to dwell with Him. Now, as per the great commission in Matthew 28: 19, 20 - we are supposed to Go, Preach the Gospel and Baptize disciples unto Him.

Prior to the disciples going out and beginning to preach, Jesus advised them in Acts 1:8 - to tarry for the Holy Spirit. So, the disciples waited and prayed. That was complete obedience. They prayed! And prayed! And Prayed - till the promise of the Holy Spirit came in Acts 2. How can a creative revival happen in a human being? To have a better understanding, think about the creation of this world. In Genesis 1:26 - God said: let us make man in our image according to our likeness. Father, Son and Holy spirit, created man in their likeness and we are comprised of a body, soul and spirit. Revival is a new creation experience and it requires all the three components of the Trinity working together in unity - prayer to God, the Word Jesus who came to the earth in flesh and the Spirit of God - the Holy Spirit. The three essentials of any Revival are prayer, the word and the Holy Spirit. This should start in an individual's prayer closet, then it ignites the family, the churches and flows out to the community affecting the nations. As we look into the history of revivals, in Azusa street, Brownsville, Columbian, etc it is evident that these revivals began with three main factors such as prayer, the word and the move of the Holy Spirit and these worked together in an individual who is willing to be used by God.

As God led me in these stirrings, He clearly spoke one day about 2 years ago to Pray Everyday. This was the next level of the awakening in the revival ministry that God ignited in Canada 5 years ago. We started praying every day morning for an hour with the sole purpose to pray for a revival. Initial days it was hard to discipline oneself and be awake. But, the Holy Spirit would awaken me and send me to prayer. It was tiresome at first but eventually it became a routine in my walk with God. At first, it was only a few people. But as the prayer progressed, God was raising up people from different provinces and nations to join the prayer movement. Ever since then, I started seeing a mighty move of God in this land. Several outdoor meetings,crusades in public stadiums and parks resulted in daily salvation, baptism, healing and people being set free. Above all, more people are being ignited to carry this revival back to their families and communities. Now, following the post-COVID times, many pastors and their churches are going through a season on dryness and giving up on their callings. God has put in me the desire to partner with these pastors and their churches to unite them in the power of the Holy Spirit and remind the days of Pentecost through daily and consistent prayer. I encourage those who are desiring a revival ,to pray without ceasing. Pastors, I urge you, start a daily prayer for revival in your church. There will be at least one person willing to partner with you in your church.And this will ignite others in your congregation. Prayer will ignite families and individuals. This will download heavenly revelations in the sermons and messages. Worship sessions will change and the church will start seeing miracles , signs and wonders. I would like to mention one Caution, never try to conclude or control the results within the four walls of the church. Step out beyond walls, religion and ethnicity. See the bigger picture of God in your nation where God has planted you. Be careful not to use this power and presence for selfish desires or things of this world. But it is true that, when Revival happens ,it will transform, not just spiritual, but also every other area of human life. Seek His Kingdom and all these things shall be added unto you. Ask His presence, seek His Kingdom and Doors will be opened.

Come back to the real purpose of our calling. The world needs us, the land in which we live needs light and salt. We are the light and Salt of this world. Let our light shine in this darkness, Most of us receive a prophecy or a promise and are ready to achieve it quickly. But God is not restricted by time barriers. His plans and purposes are beyond our wildest dreams. Oh Lord, let me pray that there be more harvesters, as fields are being ripened and a great revival is coming. REVIVE us oh Lord. We will come back to you and call upon your name. May the endtime revival breakout across the nations as our Lord Jesus is coming soon! And we don’t have much time left. Shalom.

The first century church cried out to God with great zeal for a great move of God among them. They prayed to the Lord: “Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus (Acts 4.30).” It was a prayer for a revival when the world persecuted them. After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly (Acts 4.31).” Revival is ultimately the plan and purpose of God to empower the church through a person or a group of people. Revival happens at God’s particular time. Revival starts with a prayer for the supernatural hand of God to be seen in lives, continues with filling of the Holy Spirit, resulting in preaching the word of God boldly. The Holy Spirit blesses the church with many signs and wonders and approves every word the church preaches to the world.

Apparently, the disciples proved Jesus is the son of God, and the Holy Spirit revived them. In the history of christianity a remnant always had this zeal for revival. Even today there is a remnant crying out day and night for the revival of the church. If we know our potential, the power and wealth that God installed in us we will be used for His kingdom with great might. A personal revival is the need of the hour. Every individual has to pray a manner of prayer for supernaturals to repeat in our century. Despite a godly revival the church cannot achieve heaven's intended purposes in this epoch. Such personal revivals surely lead to global revival. The character and the out of the revival is determined by what happens to each individual revived by the Holy Spirit. Let us take strong determination to serve God in return when God deals with our weaknesses by His Spirit.

However, we can only cry out to God and desire in our hearts for a real revival until God revives the church in this century. Therefore seeking God is the best part of every revival in the history of Christianity. The Bible says “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29.13). Seeking all else is a waste of time until we wholeheartedly seek God. Finding or experiencing God is possible only when a person yields to the guidance of the Spirit of God by forgetting all the personal agenda. Hence, God says to the Israelites “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land (2 Chronicles 7.14).” There is always a group of people instrumental in healing the land from cross-cultural sins, wickedness and ungodliness; they are those who sought and found God for healing the planet. We will see our wicked, selfish and fleshly filthy lifestyle only when we seek and find God. Isaiah the prophet of God saw God and said ..“Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!” (Isaiah 6.5). Ultimately, God will make us a giver of life, channel of blessings, matter of peace, joy and everything else rather than merely leading a nominal life in worldly pleasures. The Apostles tried their best to practice what they heard from Jesus. Hence Paul, says “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive’(Acts 20.35).” The more they gave it away the more God poured on their lives.

Therefore, let us go and unleash the power of God and conquer the world for God with the love of God. Let us be ready! God is not bothered about differences; he is beyond prejudices. Choice is individual. God is looking to partner with individuals leading a transformed lifestyle. Who choose to be on the side of God by believing in the son of God - Lord Jesus Christ, whom God sent for the salvation of the whole world. Hence, God says “let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy” (Revelation 22.11). Let us keep ourselves fit and fine for the Lord’s coming which is advancing. Let us be fervent in prayer for revival. Let each individual in the congregation and every one of us together pray “ Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me” (Psalm 51.10). Every believer is a treasure house full of the blessings of God and gifts of God. You are more blessed than everbefore, just fan into flame the real blessings and the gifts instead of searching for it from elsewhere. The potential in its full extent will be open and operated in and through you only when you pray fervently. “For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands” (2 Timothy 1.6). May the good Lord keep you, bless you and use you very powerfully in this end time. Amen!
