Hi everyone!

It's your editor, Keara here, hope y'all are having an amazing winter season!

Thank you to all who have been consistently attending service events and sending us photos for us to use for our Service Spotlights, your dedication never ceases to amaze me even as the weather starts getting chiller out

Enjoy looking back at some of some cozy events as we transitioned from fall to winter, from delivering turkeys to raking up leaves and tidying up our city's parks. Special shoutout to everyone who showed up for the Corlears Hook Park event, with one of the biggest turnouts of the service year yet!

I do want to remind everyone that the quarantine stories is always open as there are always new quarantine stories to tell. Seeing everyone's faces at Induction made me quite sentimental of this past service year and our graduating seniors. Congratulations to everyone for finishing the school year! It’s been grueling but we made it.

Be sure to fill out the form at the end to submit some articles! I'd love to see some new faces sharing their Key Club experiences with us. And as always, don't forget to take photos at events to share to our Insta and Locksmith. Happy volunteering everyone!

Yours in care and service,

In addition, I must also address that these past two months have been marked by very impactful events. It is important that we do not remain ignorant. As Key Clubbers, we should utilize our platforms and lead this change. I encourage everyone to read the statements given by Key Club.

How's it popping Key Clubbers?

I hope the school year has been going well for the majority of you, whether it be finding your new favorite club or maybe getting into a college or two (looking at the seniors)

With the end of 2022 wrapping up and the holidays just around the corner, I wanted to say how proud I am of all of you at Stuy Key Club (and beyond :). I’ll be the first to admit that life is so hard and being a teenager too is no less difficult. While these are just words on a screen, please look out for yourself, whether that be taking a mental health day or destressing with your friends. Don’t let the competitiveness of Stuy get to you, it's a terrifyingly difficult and challenging place But at the same time, it can be amazingly supportive and beautiful, so keep pushing on. If you ever need anyone to talk to, my DMs are open, I love talking so you’ll probably get to hear about an embarrassing story or two

KEYI GUO

As with Key Club, I hope this is one of the many places where you can find a community. Whether it be volunteering at six in the morning or playing Kahoot in a random classroom, just know, Key Club is always a place that welcomes you.

Anyways, have an amazing December Stuy. Take care of yourselves and get volunteering!! If you see me in the halls (I have a pink cow print tote bag if you are having doubts) say Hi!!

Hey Key Clubbers!

I hope everyone is doing well! Lately, I’ve been swarmed with schoolwork and college apps, and I’ve gotten sick three times since school started I can’t believe it’s already December; this year has gone by so fast. I’m excited for what 2023 has in store for Key Club!

KEYI GUO

I want to thank you all for your continuous hard work and for remaining as active as you all have been. Thank you for volunteering at our events, attending our fundraisers, and joining our meetings. Hey Best Friends,

I wish all my seniors luck because college got me ahfyu9asfas. Anyways, our club continues to be awesome; around 100 people came to our November Service Meeting

We’ll be sure to book a bigger room next time because that was a fire hazard. For those that didn’t come, we all ended up waiting outside the room for 20 minutes waiting for an AIS tutoring session to end. I am so grateful for everyone that patiently waited for the meeting to start, we had so much fun making cards for teachers.

Recently I discovered this thing called Kimchi Fries. Check out JoJu in Elmhurst, Queens; I swear to everything that it’s the best thing you will ever eat Price is super reasonable and the experience is definitely worth it even if you ’ re not from Queens. Let me know if you have a chance to try it!! I super duper recommend it

Also I heard there’s a Key Club holiday party coming up soon? Look out for that! :)

I hope you've all been doing well! Recently Stuyvesant has had our Turkey Trot fundraiser in collaboration with Robotics where participants received hot chocolate for walking/running two laps around Rockefeller Park. We also hosted a mini bake-sale with homemade goods from the Cabrisuns It was super fun and we definitely hope to plan more events like that in the future. If you happened to miss our Turkey Trot fundraiser then be on the lookout for our tentative movie fundraiser and our Locker Wrapping fundraiser more details on Instagram/Facebook.

Hi everyone!

Hi everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving break and were able to catch up on some rest! Hopefully everyone is feeling replenished as we head into a two-week stretch before the longer winter break.

KEYI GUO

In the past few weeks, I went to Corlears Hook Park Rake-Up with Key Clubbers from different schools. Although it was freezing and began drizzling at the end, it was an amazing experience and I had a lot of fun! I also volunteered at the Welcome to Winter service event, at which I had a fantastic time (love the hot chocolate and books)!

We're reaching the end of the 2022 service year, so let's end strong before we launch into 2023! Best of luck to all the seniors out there, as early application results start rolling!

Moreover, it has helped me rs and do community services for our community. e to meet amazing people such as Kelly and Tammy. volunteered at the Chinatown community fridge the I’ve ever done. I served food to the community and and learned to project my voice for almost the entire nd Kelly.
