Tue, Feb 2: Valentine’s Craft Make a special Valentines craft or card. Program runs all day at the Fleet Recreation Center (FRC). Make it an after-school activity! Various supplies available on a first come, first served basis. Sun, Feb 7: Superbowl Fun Watch the Superbowl at the FRC. Games and snacks throughout the night. Special hours. See separate flyer for details. Tue, Feb 9: Carnevale Festivities “Mardi-Gras” at the FRC during regular hours of operation. How is Carnevale celebrated throughout Italy? What are the regional masks? Taste the local traditional Carnevale “frappe” (fried dough), decorate your own mask, and pick up some fun gadgets.

Fri, Feb 19: Ice Sculpting Make an ice sculpture at the FRC. Ice blocks will be provided. All day event. Fri, Feb 26: African American Heritage Celebration Displays, bibliographies, special books will be available to celebrate and learn more about African American Heritage.
