Experience this magical time of the year with a movie on the outdoor FRC Patio! Movie begins at 9 p.m. Enjoy the cool sea breeze. Fri, Aug 12: Water Melon Social and carving Quench your thirst with a refreshing watermelon at the FRC. See our carver turn a watermelon into something original at 3 p.m. The movie, Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaur (PG) will follow. Tue, Aug 23: Sand Art Contest & Exhibit You could be the winner! Adults and children are invited to the FRC at 10 a.m. for a Sand Art contest. Make your work of art using our supplies. Creations will be on exhibit at the FRC until Noon on Thu, Aug 25. Thu, Aug 25: End of Summer Reading Program Fun at OMI Park Celebrate the end of the Summer Reading Program with ice-cream and water games at the OMI Park from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Children 3 to 13 yrs who joined the Summer Reading Program must bring book logs to receive incentives. Ice cream and water games will follow. All children are invited to come have fun! Sat, Aug 27: Free Recreational Bus to Carney Park Enjoy recreational activities at Carney Park.
