Description of the Workshops

My plan(eT) - an eTwinning project for teaching decision-making at young ages: The presentation is related to an eTwinning project wηich is running this school year. The students are expected to create the profile of a new planet. To achieve that, they will apply their knowledge to carry out their tasks. They will create products related to their imaginary planet’s special features. They will collaborate in order to create joined products. The main aim of the project is to empower pupils offering them the opportunity to participate effectively in public life and decision- making processes, making their voices heard.

Young volunteers acting globally: Presentation related to activities that my students did while developing an eTwinning project with the title: URRRGENT! EUROPE’S KNOCKING AT THE DOOR! demonstrating their active participation on raising awareness about Climate Change. Students, with hands on activities, tried to send a message of sustainable development to Local authorities and stakeholders taking initiatives, proposing possible solutions and contributing as active European citizens to the Global Action for a better world.

Democracy is about active participation in the life of our community: Presentation of activities in 2 eTwinning projects: "I'm in Love with the Green Earth" talking about a volunteering activity and "Code Race" talking about democratic participation and involvement according to the rules having the right information.

Knowledge is a cornerstone of Democratic Participation: Presentation of activities in eTwinning projects: (2015-16) "Myriem and Friends: citizens of a better world", (201617) "RED through our schools' window: Rules Expectations Duties at school" and "BEES(Y)" (2017-18). All the three projects are coherent to "Democracy and human rights start with us in our actions" and have as common motto "Participation is based on Knowledge"

Living and Learning Democracy: The presentation is about different class activities related with democracy in a primary school that are used in eTwinning projects called "Rainbow Ride" and "Eureka". By being respectful to majority's decision, being an active participant, taking responsibility of our actions, we aim to feature Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights in the school practice.

"Beyond the mirror": We are not only beautiful people but we are social beings of great importance in the development of democracy. When we look only ourselves in the mirror, we look only what we look but this is not enough to be a good citizen. Here we have to look beyond the mirror where our responsibilities lie in democratization. The students during this project gain the ability to activate in the democratic life in the country for which Albania needs more. It was a successful school project last year in cooperation with parents and members of civil society.

I'm aware of my moral values: The project is about values. We want to share our values with our democratic rights.

Women's rights and democratic participation: For combating gender- based violence and for promoting gender equality because many women's access to education and political participation is refused and face with many other human rights violations. In this regard, students want to raise awareness at an early age. Many countries are making important studies on women's rights and democratic participation. however, it is still not at the expected level.

Bullying- cyber-bullying- preventing violence at school: My presentation reflects the topic Bullying- cyber-bullying- preventing violence at school which was developed through eTwinning projects: Peer Bullying in schools and The digital rainbow. The aim of the projects was to promote good manners and respectful behavior in school, to change students’ vision and make bullying uncool and unacceptable, develop emotional self-control skills, build a safe school environment that facilitates the educational process and helps students to cope with various situations or events in their lives; to promote and encourage responsible use of technologies & internet safety in order to avoid cyberbullying.

“I am Coding My Values: Value education has a vital role to live together and create an environment of trust in societies. School programs and trainers have an important mission in transferring such an important phenomenon to new generations. In this presentation I will mention about how we dealt with value education via coding activities to the 6th grade secondary school students in the eTwinning project.

"Defending Europe teaching democracy" Erasmus + project: Presentation of the activities related to democracy during the 2 mobilities in Germany and Martinique. Activities planned for the mobility in Greece in May 2019.

Democratic participation: The activities used in eTwinning projects: "Europe seeing my eyes", "get to know the EU countries". Speaking of Democratic Participation in our Country, Democracy through Education in our School, "Active Citizenship and Democratic Values in Our Community"

Take care of me – take care of you: The project “Take care of me - take care of you” celebrates taking care of the Ss in European schools. The national, lingual, emotional, cultural diversity is the common heritage of humanity and we would like to discover it with our students. The project "Take care of me - take care of you" is an opportunity to help our students understand the value of their diversity and learn how to live together in harmony and take care of each other at the same time. The creative approach and the teamwork would be particularly appreciated. It is an opportunity to unleash the creative potential of their different languages and traditions, habits and ways of life and to ensure that these differences enrich and strengthen us, teach the Ss to be careful, instead of dividing them. We want to promote positive behavior and try to find the ways to avoid bullying among young children.

Inclusion of the Community in School Life: How to get involved in parents in different activities and programs. What projects and initiatives have interest in their activation? How we provide opportunities, and support them as a school, to be inclusive?

"Well informed citizens keep Democracy thriving": This is a part of an Erasmus+ and eTwinning project on Media Literacy aiming at creating Lesson Plans ready to be integrated and applied by all teachers regardless their teaching object. Our aim is to educate students in order to be critical thinkers via media and information literacy.

Active digital citizens and Democratic values: Presentation of eTwinning project @ctive @nd Digit@l Citizenship Dimensions. This eTwinning project was developed between 2016-2017. Students from Slovakia, Romania and Italy participated in a project about eSafety and citizenship. The project deals with the issues connected with the global, active and digital citizenship. It tried to find the path to the identity of citizenship as the main value. Its ambition was to lead students to understand differences and common attributes of living in the world, the EU and also in our own countries. The final result of our project was a webpage.

My castle your castle-Exploring Koules fortress: This eTwinning project wants to make pupils aware about the place where they live. They have the opportunity to know and discover more about the castle of their village or town or near where they live. 2019 is the year of Democratic Participation and our students explain to us what is the meaning of democracy.

Democratic Participation: a dream or a possible reality?: My activity is a survey about Democratic Participation done in my classes.

European Year 2019 theme in class activities: Presentation of eTwinning activities on the topics of active citizenship and democratic participation in the primary school classroom.

"Fight for your rights": The project goes through several historical epochs that somehow deepen the struggle for rights. The part that I present presents through a video created for this purpose (based on a painting painted by my student StĂŠffany de Jesus of the 12th), the collection and selection of information by the students of two phases of History (Old Regime-French Revolution)
