Our goal at this point is to get our performance faces ready to go and give that audience a wonderful show. We've done the hard work already - now it's time to have fun and share our music! (FYI, song list / show order to follow later) Before I go over recap and announcements, I want to ask one favor. I'll be creating an attendance announcement email for a possible coaching session on either Friday evening, September 30 or Saturday morning/afternoon, October 1st. Note: I do NOT plan on having us rehearse both days, but I do want to see who is available for a coaching session depending on which day we pick. So, please respond to the announcements that come out. If you are

Announcements for future weeks: - Pending final approval/announcement from the Board, no rehearsal on

I won't go nuts over the various things we discussed during rehearsal, but here's the quick version. Bring your music to take notes about what we cover each week - this will help you remember what to work on throughout the week and will hopefully make our rehearsals better and more productive. Practice your rhythm skills - tap your toes or move to the music, snap your fingers, or something else - it doesn't matter what it is, but we MUST treat the rhythm as an unchanging element of a song where it's prominent. (Hint, sing along with the learning track for a rhythm song and see how often you match the timings there - or even better: yourself in a program like Audacity over-top the learning track and play it back and see how it sounds) Keep it smooth - don't wind up into notes, no scooping, and sing into the good vocal space at all times. There are a bunch more but those are the big three. Monday will be singing a few Christmas songs every week. For that Have Heard On High Jingle 19 How High the Moon will be a regular rep song and we WILL be rehearsing it that night, front to back.

rehearsal, plan on singing Oh Holy Night, Angels We

1. Be there by 5:30 per Chris Howard request

3. Please car pool if at all possible.

6. Afterglow will be at Federal Jack's brewpub which is about 2.5 miles further along on Rte 9, in Kennebunk, lower village. Turn left off Langsford Rd in town center; or left out of the parking lot behind Bradbury's Store on to Rte 9. Just after passing the store and fire hall across the street you will start up a steep hill. I will have more detailed instructions available on Saturday night. For those who want, the actual address of Federal Jack's is 8 Western Ave in Kennebunk, just over the bridge from Dock Square in Kennebunkport. It is very easy to go from the Church to Federal Jack's, and you will find it a great place to experience our afterglow. The kitchen will be open till 10. Your family and guests are welcome at this free concert. Also, they will enjoy the afterglow.

4. Cape Porpoise is actually a part of the Town of Kennebunkport if for some reason your guidance system is confused.

2. Address is 3 Langsford Rd in Cape Porpoise. Cape Porpoise is on Rte 9 which makes a right angle turn in town. At that point, you are within 100 yds of the Church. There is church parking behind Bradbury's store as well as on Langsford Rd. Even if you need to go up past the church quite a ways, it would be best to park on the street so as to allow concert goers the parking lot.
