Rehearsal 10-31-2022 Great work last night for all who attended! The Christmas repertoire is really starting to come together.
Looking forward, can we all agree to surprise and delight Chris next week by knowing all of the notes cold to all of the songs (especially basses, whose only noteworthy flaw in an otherwise stellar performance was some noticeable fishing for notes here and there). It’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking “we’ve got plenty of guys. No one will notice if I’m fishing around here and there”. I caught myself doing that last night. But guess what? Having been in front of the chorus lfor part ast night I can tell you that when that happens the audience can tell that it’s muddy, even if they won’t know why. Holiday Shows Expect a generated note asking for attendance for our holiday shows. We have sufficient coverage based on answers so far but I'd like to double-check since we are close enough to the edge that it may matter. Note that the Sat 12/10 show has 2 performances, 2pm and 7pm. There is only one event. If you can make only one please answer "will attend" and send me (George) a separate note on which you cannot make. If I don't see a note I will assume you can make both! Shows are Monday 11/21 (Sable Lodge) Monday 12/5 (Saco) Sat 12/10 (Windham) Monday 12/12 (Lunt auditorium, for Oceanview) Friends and family are welcome at all of these except perhaps the last one. We will check with Oceanview about capacity but as you know the room isn't huge George
