The Delta Alpha Chapter Candy Land Themed Spring Recruitment The women of Alpha Xi Delta are eager to be back at school for another wonderful semester with recruitment coming up. Recruitment is one of our favorite times of the semester because we have the opportunity to meet a lot of great women who have the potential to be fabulous sisters. We have big goals for this semester and are striving to get our chapter to total, which is a maximum of 50 women. By growing our chapter, we have the opportunity to change the lives of more women on the UW-L campus and give them the tools they need to realize their potential. Our theme for this semester’s recruitment is Candyland. This has been a fabulous theme choice for us because we get to utilize a childhood favorite game: Candyland. Pictured above is our first night of recruitment. This event was a huge success thanks to our Membership Vice President Amanda Grischow and we are all very excited for the following events that we have coming up.

What did we do during Winter Break? Jennie Humphrey traveled to Costa Rica with her family. She went on a lot of interesting adventures including hiking this stunning forest!
Jenna Horton took a trip with her family to explore the beautiful state of Hawaii. She even got to go to a real Luau .
Sara Hessefort took a Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas and had a great time at the beach getting her tan on!
Mary Eiken went to Japan and learned a lot about different cultures. She had an amaxing time and even learned a couple words in Japanese!
