One of Cape Town’s music exports, the Tygerberg Children's Choir, has been named Best Children's Choir attheHullInternationalChoir Competition 2023 in the United Kingdom. The choir's publicist says the acclaimed and popular group also came second in the category of Sacred Choral Music A' Cappella and subsequently
bagged two gold diplomas at the contest. The latest accolades mean that the Tygerberg Children's Choir has now qualified to perform at the next World Choir Games, the Championship Competition in New Zealand next year. Twenty-seven choirsfromtencountriestook part in this year's Hull Choir CompetitionintheUK.
