SAME SAME WEDDINGS MAGAZINE LAUNCH EDITION 2018

Flavio Scotece and Shallen Naidoo met whilst they were both working in separate depar tments in a depar tment store several years ago. Flavio was shopping in Shallen’s section when they sparked a conversation. The proposal was intimate and a surprise to say the least. Flavio arranged a proposal around Shallen’s bir thday weekend and pretended to have prepared a bir thday par ty for him in the city. Whilst, we were walking through the city to the “bir thday par ty” Flavio had some close friends of ours set up a cute display in a public park under the harbour bridge besides Park Hyatt Hotel. The display was scattered with roses, two engraved champagne flute glasses and a bottle of our favourite Italian Champagne, all lit by the warm light of many candles. As Shay and Flavio walked around the corner, Flavio popped the question and brought Shay over to the display, whilst our close friends recorded the moment as best as they could from behind a nearby tree. The moment was a great surprise and ended with a luxurious dinner nearby accompanied by our close friends.

Longuevue Mansion - We wanted to do something out of the norm so we rented a glamorous mansion on acreage and planned the whole event between ourselves and close family and friends. It was strictly a ver y formal dress code - with men wearing suits and ties and women in floor length gowns.

We chose Yasmine Parker Photography to capture ever y moment of our glamorous event.

The florals were created by Wedding Flowers by Jody and our divine cake was by Topper Cakes AU. DJ Cavelle provided the Music. Blue Salt Catering provided the food and Pop Top Bar tenders provided the Bar tending Ser vices.

Ever ybody dressed so glamorously, walking through the front doors with their mouths opened in awe at the beauty of the venue. To see ever ybody look so wonderful and mingling with one another was a true delight. The speeches were also a major highlight of the night as they brought tears of joy to many, as our brothers encouraged their suppor t with open arms.

Our family and friends have been an amazing suppor t network and without their love and encouragement we would not be able to celebrate our commitment with such confidence.
