“The ceremony took place under the unbelievably beautiful fig tree followed by canapés on the lawn then onto the reception in the dair y barn for a sit down banquet dinner, which was the most delicious food I have ever eaten. Followed by copious amounts of laughter, dancing and celebrating all night long.” “Anything that could be made we did it! We bought and cut the hessian table runners. The wedding invitations were an Etsy template then we printed and cut them all out. Robyn’s brother made the table numbers. We up-cycled and painted the rose gold glass jars on the tables. We made and hand painted ceremony and lawn game signs for around the venue. We made some of the lawn games. We borrowed the Cordwell’s wooden crates that are from Robyn’s grandparents who owned a pineapple farm... and some of the suitcases as well. The bonbonniere were vintage teacups collected from various garage sales with home gown succulents and Robyn’s mum helped us make homemade marmalade & ginger jam in mini jars with hessian covers.”
