TELL US ABOUT YOUR AMAZING DAY “The weather was a little bit ‘iffy’ on the day, saying it was going to rain and we never had a ‘rainy day back up’ option because we just had faith in the day! Thankfully the rain held out and sprinkled the tiniest bit at the end of the ceremony. One of our favourite moments was our entrance to our reception. The bridal par ty danced into the venue to their chosen song, followed by Emma and I dancing in to the ‘Shots’ song to begin our celebration for the night!” WHAT DOES MARRIAGE MEAN TO YOU? “Marriage to us is simply ‘us’. We initially wanted to wait until Australia legalised marriage for same-sex couples, however we realised that although the legality is impor tant, to us marriage meant being together, suppor ting each other and committing ourselves to one another for the rest of our lives. We felt we didn’t need a piece of paper or lack thereof to stop us from celebrating. We wanted to celebrate our relationship and love with the people that meant the most to us... and that’s exactly what we did!”
