HOW DID YOU MEET? “We met on an app - with the pure intention of having a ‘wild time, not a long time’ - back in 2015. Haha!” THE PROPOSAL “There weren’t any grand surprises, secrets or plans. We’re not typically traditionalists - but after talking about it, we made a decision together to order two rings online. They arrived the day we were moving interstate. We drove for 14 hours and finally reached our suburb after 2am, but before we went home, we stopped at the beach and exchanged rings. We stumbled over words, it was pitch black and windy, but it was perfect for us and we wouldn’t change a thing.” THE ENGAGEMENT “We had a big par ty! Invitations were posted snail-mail style. It was at our house - we had lots of food, alcohol, a bonfire, family and friends. We decorated the backyard with lanterns and candles for lighting. We had friends come from interstate to celebrate with us and we were spoiled with gifts and beautiful well wishes from ever yone. It was an amazing night.
