Jodie Blom and Cameron Carwood met in May 2017. “We met in the most romantic way, with a right swipe on Tinder. The first date was set for the Plough Inn at South Bank and we spent the night getting to know each other over dinner and drinks. Days later the conversation was still going, despite me working away, so we knew we were onto a winner with each other. To really prove if we belonged together, Cameron decided to put me through the ultimate test of camping with him and 1J (our dog). I nailed that test so he decided to keep me around! Fast forward to July 2019. We were at home having a fire in the front yard one evening and Cameron said there was something on 1J’s collar for me. I looked and it was an engagement ring. Cameron then asked: ‘Will you marry us?’”
