Introducing the New GEN-XR and PNP-70!
GEN-XR
PNP-70
The GEN-XR is our easiest to install reduced steering system. The GEN-XR allows for 0-100%, and anywhere in between, reduction to the steering. The steering effort can easily be adjusted on the fly by the dealer and locked in. The GEN-XR is a plug n play installation on the Toyota Sienna and Chrysler Pacifica only needing 3 wires to be soldered (ignition and CAN).
The Plug N Play 70 offers 70 functions for the Pacifica with a simple box that plugs into the OBD-II. The functions are controlled via a tablet. An option is available for Toyota but is not fully plug n play and thus requires tapping a few wires.

Photos and videos of your business, your interactions with customers, promotions and sales events you are running and even simple holiday messages can be used to update your GMB listing multiple times per week and that content will drive your organic search placement for people not just looking for your specific business, but for a business like yours. If you haven’t claimed your GMB page, start today. The process is simple, you fill out the information on Google and they will send a postcard to your location with a code so you can “claim” the address. Once complete, it is time to make sure you fill out all pertinent information about your store. The more complete your profile, the more success you will experience. When customers ask questions,

Finally, the other Google product that
The other important thing to do is
most people struggle with is paid search. Dealers spend no money on it and miss opportunities...and dealers spend tens of thousands on it and waste most of it. I’ve spent hundreds of hours learning how to most effectively market paid search, and there are lots of extremely advanced strategies that are worth exploring. There is also a very approachable way to start running it yourself and see some results on a very small spend. The first thing to understand, paid search only costs you money when people click. This means, we can use a very small budget and target detailed searches that will have low results in clicks...but be extremely likely to fit our customer profile and be actively in market for a mobility vehicle. Think about the 5 or 10 phrases that one of your customers would be most likely to search if they were
make your own business name a negative keyword. If I have “Dave’s Mobility Vehicles” as my store name, when someone searches for that two things can happen. One, they organically find my GMB listing or two, they find a paid search ad for my store and click on it. One is free and comprehensive with a huge toolset to interact with my business and the other costs me money for a less robust listing. By making your business name a negative keyword, you don’t cannibalize your organic efforts with your paid search efforts. This is a foundation for your digital marketing program, easily customizable and scale-able. You won’t have to invest thousands with vendors who aren’t built to service your industry, but will still drive more leads, website traffic, and ultimately sales for your store. There are many more techniques like these, and with more time this Fall, I will be able to provide visuals and walkthroughs of how to implement these and others. AROUND THE INDUSTRY Driverge Acquires NorCal Van Driverge Vehicle Innovations recently announced that it has acquired NorCal Van Conversions. According to a press release, the acquisition for Driverge will provide enhanced manufacturing, product offerings, and distribution in support of the western United States. “We are excited to welcome NorCal Van Conversions’ customers and team to the Driverge family. This acquisition is very dynamic for Driverge. While improving our geographic footprint, the acquisition grows us in so many areas, from team, to product, to capability.” said Driverge President Mark Minatel. He added, “Our companies share customer-focused missions for delivering solutions to an incredible and supportive client base. This is a powerful combination that strengthens our abilities to drive leading innovation and value for our clients.”
Ability Center Launches Community “Family First Program” You may recall a photo that went viral about a year ago, of a young boy staring in awe at a Target sign featuring a boy in a wheelchair, just like him. Ability Center in Phoenix helped this local boy have a fun-filled birthday weekend by coordinating with local amusement companies and providing a wheelchair accessible van to help the family get around. The effort was such a success that Ability Center was inspired to start the “Family First Program” that aims to help other community members, young and old, have a weekend of fun. “Oftentimes, people in wheelchairs get left behind by the family for family outings because there’s no room in the car. Sometimes that’s the child, sometimes that’s mom or dad, an uncle or brother or sister. So it’s not just for little kids,” said Lenny Ovadia, General Manager at Ability Center. “Nobody should ever be left out, it’s all about inclusion.”
MobilityWorks Acquires New Location According to a recent press release, MobilityWorks has added it’s 94th location with the acquisition of Jay Hatfield Mobility’s Lee Summit, MO store. MobilityWorks now operates in 32 states. “Adding the Lee’s Summit location to our organization offers an exciting opportunity to strengthen and expand our service offering in the state of Kansas,” said Eric Mansfield, Chief Operating Officer/President of MobilityWorks. “We look forward to the addition of the talented team members and the opportunity to serve the wheelchair community in the Kansas City area.”
Ilderton Conversions Helps Two Families Gain Driving Independence Earlier this month, Ilderton Conversions helped two families gain driving independence through a partnership with All Things Possible, a local charitable organization that helps raise money for wheelchair-accessible vans and specialized medical equipment for families in need. Eight-year old Gracey Kelson and thirteen-year-old Jaysen Drum both have cerebral palsy and ride wheelchairs to get around. The NMEDA member dealership was able to provide each family with a BraunAbility van to make transportation a bit easier.
Superior Van to Expand Locations According to a recent press release, Superior Van & Mobility announced they will be opening a new store in the Ann Arbor, MI area in late 2021. This recent decision will expand Superior Van and Mobility to seventeen markets and adds Michigan to the list of locations in Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Nebraska, and Florida.

It is my privilege to introduce to you the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association of Canada (NMEDA). We are an organization of automotive mobility dealers, equipment manufacturers and health care professionals dedicated to providing safe and reliable transportation solutions for all people with disabilities. Their safety and that of the general public is our first and foremost goal. Our membership maintains the highest industry standards through the NMEDA Guidelines and the Quality Assurance Program (QAP) rules. Adhering to these regulations ensures that all modifications provided by NMEDA member mobility dealers either meet or exceed the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. By upholding these high-quality standards through annual member audits,
