PAST EVENTS Don't Miss Out On These Exciting Events!

Member Reflections Enjoy reading about their experiences! Dare to Serve was a really fun and effective way to motivate people to do service. Out of the many events provided by our home club, I did FreeRice which gave me 10 hours. Dare to Serve allowed me to use my hours to dare the board, so I chose to dare Jamie and Peter :) Overall, the concept is an entertaining addition that encourages members to do service. The Going Green DCM was fun to say the least. Making plarn balls was easier than i thought and spending time with everyone made the time pass by fast. There was a lot of fun and interesting conversations between the members in my breakout room. Even though i didn’t talk much, it was nice to hear that everyone was doing well in quarantine. I hope the next dcm goes as well as this one did! The Bingo Takeover Interclub was such a fun and wholesome experience. It was a great opportunity to chat and just bond with other people in the division. We started off by doing ice breakers and then moved onto a quick session of Freerice. We did more icebreakers and then played bingo. The entire time we were having easy-going conversations which made the atmosphere fun and enjoyable. Overall, if we were to have another interclub like this, I'd definitely attend again :D

MEMBER REFLECTION VOLUNTEERING AT FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY

WHAT'S IN THIS MONTH'S ISSUE: July Service with Addy!

ADDY CHANTHAKONE Hello, I am Adelyna and I am a sophomore at Middle College! This month I have been to a service event called “Friends of the Library” which was provided by our home-club. I volunteered with someone else and we rearranged/sorted books, greeted customers, made sure they wore their mask and had clean hands. It was very fun and I would volunteer again with different and the same people while social distancing.
