Happy December!!

It's officially Christmas music season! I hope that you are all taking care of yourselves with finals coming up. You've made it through one semester! I am very proud of you all. Keep up the good work!

As we dive into December I want you all to remember that there are events happening over break such as service and our Kiwanis takeover. I wish you all luck during finals season and have an amazing winter break!

MCHS Key Club and Stockton Kiwanis will be collaborating on a Kiwanis Takeover on December 20th, 2022 at 12 PM at Whirlows!

Division 27 North is hosting a toy and clothing drive for the Stockton Homeless Shelter at their Grizzly's Workshop Dec. DCM.

Region 16 recently collaborated with nearby regions to host the Fantasy-TC which included workshops about the LTG position.

District is hosting a Panda Express fundraiser on December 16th, 2022. All funds will go to CNH's Children Fund! Go Support!

KOIBEAR AUTUMN FEST by patricia dequit 11/19/22

At the DCM, we got the chance to hang out with D27S members through karaoke and games. It was so much fun to connect with the members of both D27 divisions and meet new people! At the beginning, we had an icebreaker where we played a new version of rock-paper-scissors. It was confusing at first, but once everyone got the hang of it, everyone seemed to have a good time. The food looked delicious and there were so many different options. There was also a canned food drive and it was nice to see everyone’s stack of donations at the entrance. So many people contributed from both divisions and it seemed to be very successful. We were also able to celebrate with our sister division, D27S, for taking first place at FRN! Overall, it was a very fun event and I would love for our division to collaborate with D27S again in the future!

PARADE OF LIGHTS by selene wang

this was my first year experiencing the kiwanis parade of lights and i got to do so a volunteer! i went with my friends from school and even got the chance to reconnect with some friends from other schools in lodi, and overall we had a pretty good time. i think the good company and friendly staff made even the tasks of picking up trash cans and trash in general a lot of fun, and i definitely enjoyed the experience !!

FANTASY-TC by ren pham

As a sophomore it was my first time attending Candidate Training Conference and I overall enjoyed it. There were 6 workshops detailing the duties, rewards, deadlines, and election of being an LTG and I learned a lot about the position. The workshops were split with a lunch break and breakout groups lead by LTGs across 4 regions and I got to see a lot of my Region 16 friends again!
