At the DCM, we got the chance to hang out with D27S members through karaoke and games. It was so much fun to connect with the members of both D27 divisions and meet new people! At the beginning, we had an icebreaker where we played a new version of rock-paper-scissors. It was confusing at first, but once everyone got the hang of it, everyone seemed to have a good time. The food looked delicious and there were so many different options. There was also a canned food drive and it was nice to see everyone’s stack of donations at the entrance. So many people contributed from both divisions and it seemed to be very successful. We were also able to celebrate with our sister division, D27S, for taking first place at FRN! Overall, it was a very fun event and I would love for our division to collaborate with D27S again in the future!

The kiwanis takeover was really fun and I liked getting to meet the people who help support the club! The test icebreaker was fun to do even though I only got one right. I also liked seeing them try to get the desserts and Mrs. D’s snowman plate!

CANDY CANE RUN
12/21/22
by giselle balaga
Me and other Mchs students held encouraging signs and waved them around towards participating kids and teachers as they ran past. It was cold and wet but we were able to stay together as a group under a tree. Some of the kids were really sweet and funny and it was refreshing to interact with them. Overall I enjoyed it and the staff were nice and helpful when it came to the lunch break and directing us to the field.

POLAR EXPRESS DAY

by katelyn her
Volunteering at Mosher elementary was a very fun experience and I got to relive old memories. I spent time with kindergarten students and helped them with coloring and organzing activities. I stayed an extra 2 hours cleaning up; going up and down the stairs to put away large items in the storage and reorganzing books back to the shelf. I really enjoy this experience and hope to do this again!
