PAST EVENTS April DCM & Banquet

Member Reflections

BRITNEY LE

hear out what our grizzlies have to say!

THE APRIL DCM WAS VERY VERY CUTE. IT WAS SUPER EXCITING SEEING EVERYONE GET THEIR AWARDS AND PEOPLE CHEERING ONE ANOTHER ON IN THE CHAT. I’M SAD THAT SEABASS IS LEAVING BUT VERY EXCITED TO SEE WHAT LTG HAILEY HAS IN STORE FOR US!

KIARA FLORES

THE APRIL DCM WAS A VERY EXCITING TIME TO WELCOME THE NEW LIEUTENANT GOVERNORS AND WITNESS THEIR FIRST DCM. AT THE BANQUET THERE WAS LOTS OF RECOGNITION TO RECOGNIZE ALL THE HARDWORKING AND OUTSTANDING OFFICERS, MEMBERS, AND CLUBS. THEN CAME THE EMOTIONAL PART OF THE BANQUET WHERE WE SHOWED A VIDEO THAT MADE SEBASTIAN CRY LIKE A LITTLE BABY. THE IP LTGS GAVE THEIR FINAL GOODBYE SPEECHES AND THAT CONCLUDED THE EVENT. WE WILL MISS THEM AND WE APPRECIATE ALL THE WORK THEY DID THROUGHOUT THEIR TERM!

PAST EVENTS PT. 2 District Convention 2021

Member Reflections

HELENA T-OUK

hear out what our grizzlies have to say! DCON was an amazing experience even through the difficulty of it being virtual I was able to gain knowledge about Key Club and have an enjoyable event. I got to see a LIVE performance of AJ Rafael and got to see some Key Club Alumni and how they used their leadership skills to uses. I got to support my friends from different divisions and 2020-2021 board as they got their recognition during the ceremony. We also got to say good bye to the the previous District Gov, Secretary, and Treasurer. We also got to be introduced to the new District Team. We say goodbye to the old term and welcome the new one.

JEANETTE BERMUDEZ

AS THIS IS MY FIRST YEAR IN KEY CLUB, I COULD DEFINITELY SAY THAT DCON WAS A LOT MORE EXCITING THAN I HAD EXPECTED IT TO BE. THE ENERGY THERE WAS AMAZING. ALL OF THE EVENTS AND PRESENTERS HAD MADE THE EXPERIENCE MEMORABLE AND I ACTUALLY REALLY ENJOYED IT. THE WORKSHOPS WERE SURPRISINGLY REALLY FUN AND I WAS ABLE TO LEARN A LOT FROM THEM! I DIDN’T THINK THAT I’D WAKE UP SO EARLY ON A WEEKEND (YES, 10 AM IS EARLY FOR ME) BUT I DEFINITELY DON’T REGRET IT! 10/10 I WOULD REALLY LOVE TO EXPERIENCE IT AGAIN ANOTHER YEAR, HOPEFULLY, IN PERSON !!

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT VOLUNTEERING AT FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY

WHAT'S IN THIS MONTH'S ISSUE: Nolan's Friends of the Library experience

NOLAN PARKER Hey Middle College Key Club! My name is Nolan Parker and I am currently a Freshman here at Middle College! This month I participated in the “Friends of the Library” service event where I volunteered with a friend of mine and we sorted and dated books, as well as helped customers. This service opportunity is very fun and enjoyable, and I recommend it to you all :)
