The company has around 1,350 employees and is based in Wangen in the Allgäu (Germany). Waldner products are used in healthcare, pharmaceutical and research companies worldwide.

THE CHALLENGE In order to supply its customers in Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan with laboratory equipment, Waldner was looking for a logistics partner with expertise in these countries. Gebrüder Weiss was quickly chosen because they have been carrying out transports for Waldner efficiently and safely for many years. The challenge: ● length of the route (up to 3 weeks from the Allgäu to Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan) ● demanding dealings with authorities ● linguistic and cultural differences ● very high-quality products that are particularly safe to transport

THE SOLUTION Gebrüder Weiss has been carrying out regular land transports for Waldner to end customers in Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan since 2016. The services at a glance: ● shipment volume up to now: 56 full loads to Astana/Kazakhstan and 26 full loads to Ashgabat/Turkmenistan ● shortest possible transport route (14 to max. 17 days by land transport); route leads via Poland, Belarus, Russia, partly via Uzbekistan ● express transport of spare parts as general cargo or air freight ● document check ● route monitoring ● certified partner network
