Lead Logistics by Gebrüder Weiss

Lead Logistics Provider: The efficient Solution Companies often award transport contracts to different service providers. The consequence is obvious: considerable administrative and operational effort as a lot of information needs to be pooled. The solution: a Lead Logistics Provider (LLP), who acts as a single point of contact and performs all the necessary communication and coordination tasks, as well as offering suitable optimization measures if required. This enables the respective company to focus squarely on its core business, while increasing the level of sustainability in its supply chains. Gebrüder Weiss

The Benefits Homogeneous processes – sustainable action GW coordinates and monitors the intercompany supply chain as the LLP. The services can be extended to include other offers (e.g. SCM consulting or analytics) as required. Optimizing supply chains improves the overall level of sustainability. Supply chain visibility – high transparency The GW SCM web portal provides a user-friendly overview of all intercompany transports – visible to all parties involved at any time. Any deviations (e.g. delays) can be proactively reported by senders and recipients. Real-time data – better communication SE has real-time access to all the details of the delivery, the costs and the current status of shipments. Individual reports on transport performance filtered by time period are also available. All this greatly improves the quality of all communication (SE plants, logistics service providers, recipients).
