Nancy Wilson

The “Rock & Roll Three For All “ concert tour features these three rock legends, all Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductees – and all delivered a show worthy of their lofty perch in the rock pantheon at this stop at the beach. Check Trick opened to a house that was half empty as they began at 6:45 pm; as the crowd filtered in they realized what they were missing. Guitarist Rick Nielson was as irreverent as ever, striking poses and throwing dozens of picks into the audience. At 63, singer Robin Zander can still hit the high notes. All the hits were crammed into their hour, including “Dream Police,” “I Want You To Want Me,” and “The Flame.” Surprisingly, Heart, billed as headliners, took the stage next. Ann and Nancy Wilson were joined by Craig Bartock on guitar, Dan Rothchild on bass, Ben Smith on drums, and Chris Joyner on keyboards, and these queens of rock didn't disappoint. Although Heart released a new album, Beautiful Broken, in July, this was still very much a “greatest hits” show, and a trip down memory lane worth taking. From “Magic Man” to “Alone,” the show was seamless; Cheap Trick joined Heart during the encore for a cover of “Love Hurts.” Ann Wilson and Zander, side by side, proved that time has not touched their voices. Jett, performing despite 90-degree temperatures and 100 percent humidity, defied the climate – and her age – in in a black sequined body suit, black leather jacket, and Doc Martins, too bad ass to care about the heat. The hometown crowd was on its feet for the Long Beach native as she came out swinging, performing all her best-known songs from The Runaways' “Bad Reputation” to her own classics “I Love Rock & Roll,” “I Hate Myself For Loving You,” and more. She ended the night with a surprising encore of the classic anti-racism song “Everyday People.” – Laura A. Casini; photos by Randi Savron

Laid Back Festival: Gregg Allman & Friends Nikon At Jones Beach Theatre Wantagh

Yes, The Allman Brothers Band is no more, yet the innovation and soul of the original band continues on through its founder, Gregg Allman – who originated his Laid Back Festival, which merges food trucks with music, at this aging shed last year. Based on its success in 2015, Laid Back has turned into a mini-tour featuring a rotating series of co-headliners. Fans who waited hours to hear Allman and his band got a hodgepodge of openers, but they didn't seem to fit nearly as well as last year's support from The Doobie Brothers and Bruce Horsnby. The billed co-star, country singer Jason Isbell, provided a serviceable set in front of a polite yet disinterested half-filled stadium that seemed unfamiliar with his music. An inert America played its usual array of obtuse love ballads; on a side stage, an aging Orleans (two original members, none named John Hall) gamely gave it a go, to little avail; others providing short sets were Devon Allman, Jaimoe's Jasssz Band, and Levon. Thankfully, The Marshall Tucker Band opened the main stage with a surprisingly rousing set that not enough fans got to hear, as the early crowd was still filing in. The only act that played to a full stadium, of course, was Allman and his cracking group, which includes a star in the making in young New York-based guitarist Scott Sharrard, who sings as well as he shreds. Unlike the rote America, Allman continues to move forward as an artist; new arrangements of classics such as “Whipping Post” and “I'm No Angel” kept the chestnuts fresh and vibrant. And, yes – at 68, Allman's voice hasn't changed a bit since the glory years, moving from soulful rasp to yearning howls without a hint of effort – making his set worth the price of admission all by itself. – Bob Smith

Trump Taj Mahal (AC): At press time, we learned that Trump Taj Mahal would be closing its doors for the final time this fall – yet, the casino and resort will go out with a bang by featuring a host of entertainment events until that time, including Rod Stewart on August 27. Tickets can be purchased at the Xanadu Box Office, or by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 836-1420, or online at ticketmaster.com. Learn more at trumptaj.com. Before the Taj's demise, the casino was quite effusive about its music future. Stewart himself commented, “I give you fair warning – fasten your seat belts.

Rod Stewart At Trump Taj Mahal

I’m pulling out all the stops!” That's quite likely; his show at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater last year was so elaborate when it resembled a lavish casino show in and of itself. Foxwoods (CT): The first major festival of the fall will be September 17 as the outdoor Revolution Rock Festival premieres at this popular destination spot. Headliners include Avenged Sevenfold, Slayer, Volbeat, Chevelle, Of Mice & Men, Anthrax, Ghost, Anthrax At Foxwoods (CT) Chevelle, Killswitch Engage, Sevendust, The Amity Affliction, and more. Kelsea's Back In LI: It was less that two years ago that young Kelsea Ballerini wowed Long Island with her performance at the inaugural “Girls With Guitars” country concert at Patchogue Theatre – now's she a legitimate national superstar in her own right. The platinum-selling country sweetheart has achieved yet another milestone on her way to prominence, announcing her first-ever headlining concert bookings, aptly titled “The First Time Tour.” The trek will touch down locally on December 2 at Irving Plaza in New York City. “I’ve been blessed to open for so many incredible artists and people I admire,” said Ballerini. “Getting to watch their shows and learn more about our craft has inspired me to grow as an artist ... One of the highlights of touring has Kelsea been meeting fans Ballerini and creating new relationships along the way. And for that reason, I was inspired to put together my first headlining tour. I can’t wait to get up close and personal with the people who have made the last few years so incredible.” That’s not all: Ballerini opens for Rascal Flatts on Septemer 1 at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater… Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, and Emmylou Harris have premiered a new lyric video for an unreleased alternate version of “Wildflowers.” The Parton-penned track is featured on the new three-CD set The Complete Trio Collection. The threesome released two albums: Trio (1987) and Trio II (1999). Both albums have been newly remastered for a three-CD collection featuring rare and unreleased music. Produced by Harris, The Complete Trio Collection will be available on September 9 … We bet you didn't expect this: Cyndi Lauper's new country-tinged album, Detour, is now available through Cracker Barrel Old Country Store locations nationwide. The album is a collection of country music covers from the '40s, '50s, and '60s, and it worked: It debuted at #4 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. The record features duets with Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, Vince Gill, and Alison Krauss. "These songs had a profound impact on me when I was a little girl listening to my Aunt Gracie's kitchen radio in Queens,” said Lauper. “I grew up listening to and admiring Patsy Cline, Patsy Montana, Hank Williams – all the greats from the 'golden age' of country. It was an honor to record those beautiful songs for Detour, and I am so thankful for the fans and the country music community for welcoming me with open arms." Photo: Cyndi Lauper by Chapman Baehler

Café Society

Should- Be Hits You Can’t Miss

Our cinema summers these days are rife with comic book heroes and over-the-top, colorful animated films – yet, for real film fans, there are other choices to be made. Here are short takes on movies that have been released to little or meager fanfare that are nonetheless well worth seeing. Café Society; Kristen Stewart, Steve Carrell, Jessie Eisenberg; directed by Woody Allen (Amazon Studios / Lionsgate): An 80-year-old Woody Allen proves he's still Woody Allen with this flimsy yet wistfully entertaining comedy set in the golden age of Hollywood. Kristen Stewart finally proves she can do more than stare blankly at buff vampires, and Eisenberg is his usual charming self. It's not in the Top 10, but this movie has been packing them in at smaller theaters such as Bow Tie Theaters' Manhasset location. Bad Moms; Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell; written and directed by Scott Moore and Jon Lucas (STX

Our Little Sister

Starring Jennifer Saunders, Joanna Lumley, Julia Sawalha, Jane Horrocks, June Whitfield, Chris Colfer, Kathy Burke, Mo Gaffney, Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness Directed by Mandie Fletcher Fox Searchlight Pictures/ BBC Films There's little question about it: If you're not familiar with the long-running BBC comedy series “Absolutely Fabulous,” you'll be completely lost while trying to make sense of (or even follow) this film. There's no introduction or back story to the characters; the opening credits feature the stars Jennifer Saunders as Edina and Joanna Lumley as Patsy walking onto the screen in full, tasteless fashion regalia, and off it all goes.

FILM Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie

However, interviews with creator and writer Saunders reveal that this was the entire point of Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie – this is a film made specifically for its legion of fans in

Entertainment): Kunis and Bell are beyond appealing in a comedy about frustrated mothers that might have been a bit more believable had it not been written by a couple of guys, yet it's still fun. Christina Applegate has a huge future ahead of her as a villain, even in serious films. It's hilarious how the producers try to make Kunis and Bell look dowdy, but even in KMart clothes, they're obviously still femme fatales. Featured player Annie Mumulo is a comedy star in the making. Captain Fantastic; Viggo Mortenson, Kathryn Hahn, Frank

Langella, Missy Pyle; written and directed by Matt Ross (Electric City Entertainment): Also doing boffo biz in the art houses is this family drama that proves that trying to be the best parent possible can seem almost impossible – and it's not always the parents' faults. Great performances by Mortenson, who has never before shown such range, and stage and screen veteran Langella. Our Little Sister; Haruka Ayase, Kaho, Masami Nagasawa; directed by Hirokazu Kore-eda; Japanese, subtitled (Sony Pictures Classics): Its trailer is the most heartwarming we can ever remember, and it wasn't false advertising: It's a small little story about a half-sister being gradually brought into a family that will resonate with anyone who embraces love. This will be remembered at Academy Awards time; it’s simply beautiful.

stupidity and absurdity around her like a sponge until she explodes in comic frustration. Lumley, quite possibly the most beautiful 70-year-old on the planet, remains ageless as Patsy, Eddie's partner in excess. Most of the TV cast reassembles here; there’s a nice though short turn by Jane Horrocks as ditzy personal assistant Bubble. The flimsy plot finds the pair of wannabe big shots, already on the dole when their funds dry up, on the run after accidentally pushing supermodel Kate Moss off a balcony into the ocean. There's a church scene featuring a cross-dressing Patsy marrying an octogenarian lady billionaire that ranks among the funniest moments we've seen in any movie this year. How popular is “Ab Fab” in the UK? More than 50 stars turn up here in cameo appearances; if you know that going in, you'll have a grand time picking out them all. It's not for everybody, but there are enough laughs in the over-the-top proceedings to make it worth your while. Party on, Eddie and Patsy.

England and around the globe. The movie, though paced quite differently than the series (jokes and scenes whiz past in such rapid succession that it can become dizzying rather than funny), is a continuation of the television storyline. “Ab Fab” isn't and never was great art – but at times ranked among the funniest sitcoms of its era. Thankfully, there are enough laughs here to justify a look, but only if you are intimate with the series going in. If someone were to update John F. Kennedy’s book Profiles In Courage, it would have to include a chapter on the New York Yankees' Brian Cashman. It would have been safe for the general manager to do nothing and sell the

notion that with two months to go the Yankees had a realistic shot at qualifying for postseason play. The longstanding Yankees corporate culture was that “rebuilding” was a dirty word used by losing franchises who basically were trying to shed payroll. Manager Joe Girardi may have said it best at a press conference before the kickoff of the annual Subway Series: “The Yankees are in the world championship business. Just making it into the playoffs isn’t good enough.” Clearly, Cashman was tired of putting patches on a leaky ship to keep it afloat; he’s likely hoping the prospects his team received for Aroldis Chapman, Andrew Miller, Ivan Nova, and Carlos Beltran will bear fruit in the coming years. Yankees executives have to hope that their fans will exercise patience – a virtue not generally associated with New York sports fans. General managers have to always balance what’s best in the short and long runs for their teams, but field managers are under the gun to win with the rosters that they're given.

Girardi understood this dichotomy, and stated that he wasn’t worried about losing his job. He admitted that the talented players upper management had provided him in past years made his job a lot easier, but that he could adjust to working with younger talent. At the trade deadline, the New York Mets had a similar record to that of their crosstown rivals, but they went into the trade deadline with the mindset of being buyers. The Mets made no secret of the fact that they were keying in on Milwaukee catcher Jonathan Lucroy, but the Brewers dealt him to the Texas Rangers. When Mets general manager Sandy Alderson was asked why Brian the team failed to obtain Cashman Lucroy, he deadpanned: “The Brewers preferred the package of players that the Rangers were offering to ours.” The Mets had to settle for obtaining outfielder Jay Bruce from the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for second base prospect Dilson Herrera. Bruce is a good power hitter, but hasn't blossomed into the superstar that scouts predicted he would become. The Mets see Bruce as someone who can insure that pitchers don’t strictly throw junk to Yoenis Cespedes. Bruce also provides an insurance policy in case Cespedes opts out of his contract and signs elsewhere for 2017. The agent for current second baseman Neil Walker must have been popping champagne bottles

upon learning that the Mets were forced to move his heir apparent to the Queen City in order to obtain Bruce. Walker has done a solid job both with his bat and the glove, and the Mets should think about making a long-term commitment. In a bit of O. Henry irony, the Mets reacquired lefthander Jon Niese – the player

Niese did not exactly give a gracious exit interview when he left the Mets, as he blasted the team’s defense and said that he would enjoy playing in Pittsburgh much more. It was easy to believe that quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was close to re-signing with the New York Jets the moment that reports that he was putting up his New Jersey home for rent started to surface. This is the kind of “disinformation” that routinely comes out when both sides of a negotiation want total privacy, and thus put out a phony story to throw everyone off of the trail. The PGA Tour returns to Long Island on Thursday as the Barclays gets underway at The Bethpage Black Course. The Long Island Railroad will run free shuttle buses from Farmingdale to Bethpage State Park. There is plenty else to do besides watching the best

golfers in the world make shots that most of us can only dream about. There are always corporate sponsor booths, who inevitably have club pros who will offer free tips to improve your game. Epicureans should love the Barclays, as there will be food trucks as well as a Taste Of NY area where spectators can sample local produce. The U.S. Open starts this coming Monday, but you can enjoy a great bargain if you get to the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center between now and Friday, August 26, as top-notch players will be competing in order to earn wild card berths to the U.S. Open. There is no admission charge. The United States Tennis Association has invested more than $500 million in capital improvements, including a new Grandstand Stadium that seats 8,250 spectators; wider walkways so there is less of a chance to bump into others; a new food court area, and The Arthur Ashe Stadium retractable roof is now operational. USTA executive director Gordon Smith said that the only time the Ashe roof will be used is if it’s raining, and not on hot and humid days: “No. Battling the elements are a key part of the tournament,” Smith said. At a press event to unveil the roof earlier this month, the USTA showed a nice touch of classic rock humor by blasting The Doors’ “Riders On The Storm” to show its closing, and U2's “It’s A Beautiful Day” for its opening.

This is the last year to enjoy a piece of history. Louis Armstrong Stadium, built by The Singer Corporation for the 1964 World’s Fair, will be demolished as soon as the U.S. Open is completed. A new stadium will take its place in 2018 at an approximate cost of $150 million. Mike Piazza made terrific speeches for both his Baseball Hall of Fame induction and Mets uniform retirement ceremonies.

Funny Finale: The final two shows of the 2016 Long Island Comedy Festival take place on Friday, August 26 and Saturday, August 27 at LIC's unofficial “home base”: the cozy Theatre Three in Port Jefferson. It's a sort of “two-in-one” finale this year, as the weekend's show feature an all-star lineup of LICF favorites as well as new faces. The lineups: Friday, August 26 at 8 pm: host Paul Anthony, Stevie GB, Bill McCarty, and Richie Byrne. Saturday, August 27 at 8 pm: host Paul Anthony, Maria Walsh, Johnny Rizzo, and Harrison Greenbaum. Tickets are at longislandcomedy.com and theatrehree.com. Comedy's The Norm: The Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts will feature former “Saturday Night Live” star Norm Macdonald, in a unique event: The former “Saturday Night Live” star will discuss his first book, Based On A True Story: A Memoir, on Tuesday, September 20 at 7:30 pm. Macdonald, named one of

Compiled by Bob Smith, who makes turns signals with his arm when he drives, delighting women named “Gertie.”

Comedy Maria Walsh

Comedy Central's "100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time," will be interviewed, and will sign copies of his memoir in the Theatre lobby following his book discussion. As this book's title suggests, Macdonald tells the story of his life – more or less – from his origins on a farm in the-back-of-beyond Canada, to an epically disastrous appearance on “Star Search,” to his account of auditioning for Lorne Michaels and his memorable run as the anchor of "Weekend Update" on “SNL” … until he was fired because a corporate executive didn't think he was funny. The “SNL” firing hasn't done much to slow Macdonald's comedy ascent; the standup comic, writer, producer, and actor followed five season on the legendary late-night show to writer for “Roseanne” and star in his own network comedy, “The Norm Show.” Most recently, he served as a judge on the 2015 season of “Last Comic Standing.” He has appeared in numerous movies, television shows, and has done voiceovers in many animated features and TV shows. And if you blinked, you might have missed Macdonald in the guise of Col. Harlan Sanders in the funny yet controversial recent series of TV commercials for Kentucky Fried Chicken. We're Goofy, Norm Too: We don't Macdonald know how we messed up – we must have been too busy laughing at “The Gagootz Show” on YouTube – but the correct name for its star is Benny Rizzuti. Do us a favor and tune in, and by all means, tell Benny we're sorry in the comments – we don't want that Italian temper flaring up in our direction!

Farrell's, Bellmore August 31 at 8 PM • kjfarrells.com (516) 804-9925 There are scads of tributes for rock bands, but here's a rarity: This is a tribute to Linda Ronstadt, who dominated the '70s with a string of classic soft rock hits. This Long Island-based band is fronted by Carla Orlando, who captures the essence of Ronstadt in her performances.

Culture Club was one of the biggest pop bands of the 1980s, racking up a string of Top 20 singles in the US at the apex of the “New Wave” movement. Central to the band's appeal was the flamboyant frontman Boy George, whose crossdressing and heavy

makeup created an image that was at the time completely unique on the pop scene. George dressed in gaudy dresses and wore heavy makeup, creating a disarmingly androgynous appearance that created a sensation on early MTV. George also had a biting wit and frequently came up with cutting quips that won Culture Club heavy media exposure in America and Britain. Culture Club had sharper pop sense than their peers and they consequently had a broader appeal. However, their

time in the spotlight was brief. Not only could they not withstand the changing fashions of MTV, but the group was fraught with personal tensions, including Boy George's drug addiction. By 1986, the group had broken up, leaving behind several singles that rank as classics of the new wave era. Since that period, the group has reformed several times – but this tour is notable for the reformation of the classic lineup: Mikey Cray, Roy Hay, Boy George, and Jon Moss have delivered shows both here in America and in England that have longtime fans not only enthralled, but shocked – Culture Club might even be better than it

was during its heyday. Boy George’s trevails with drug addiction and illness made headlines over the years, but now he’s healthy and performing the amazing string of hits that few bands of any genre can match in terms of popularity: The string of smashes “Do You Really Want To Hurt Me,” “Church Of The Poisoned Mind,” “Karma Chameleon,” “Move Away,” “It’s A Mircale,” “I”ll Tumble 4 Ya,” “Miss Me Blind,” and “Time (Clock Of The Heart)” rank alongside pop’s most legendary artists as one of the quickest ascents to the top of the charts in the history of recorded music.

I prayed this would happen for many years,” said Koz. “I grew up listening to and worshipping this guy. He is the one who took the saxophone from more of a traditional jazz idiom and brought it into a more pop idiom. It’s an incredible honor to be performing side by side with him.” “Dave and I have been talking for years of doing something like this,

and now it’s finally happening,” said Sanborn. “I’m really looking forward to coming up with new and exciting takes on songs from each of our catalogs and playing for our collective fans.” A nine-time Grammy nominee, Koz has charted nine #1 albums on Billboard’s Current Contemporary Jazz Album chart, including 2015’s Collaborations: 25th Anniversary Collection (Concord Records), which features some of his most memorable creative partnerships, including duets with Stevie Nicks, Rod Stewart, Michael McDonald, Barry Manilow, and Luther Vandross – and features three new tracks. Koz never stops touring; recently, he opened for Barry Manilow on the singer's world tour. In his three-and-a-half decade career, Sanborn has released 25 albums – including eight gold and one platinum – and won six Grammy Awards. Sanborn has often been credited for reintroducing the saxophone to pop/rock music thought his work with David Bowie, Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, James Taylor, and Eric Clapton, among others. His latest solo album, 2015’s Time & The River (Sony Masterworks), marks his first collaboration with bassist and producer Marcus Miller in more than 15 years, and includes a groove-oriented collection of originals and covers. David's Back – Again: Blues master David Bromberg has emerged as one of Long Island's favorite touring genre stars thanks to his many appearances here of late. We'd wager his fans will be excited about the October 14 release of The Blues, The Whole Blues, And Nothing But The Blues (Red House Records). Produced by Levon Helm and Bob Dylan’s longtime collaborator and three-time Grammy winner, Larry Campbell, Bromberg’s first album since 2013 is a selection of deep cuts from the blues genre, in addition to original compositions. Featuring Bromberg’s David Bromberg playing and gift for interpretation, a crack band, and Campbell’s horn arrangements, the record features songs by Robert Johnson, Bobby Charles, George “Little Hat” Jones, Ray Charles, and Sonny Boy Williamson, and others.

An In-Depth Look At The Hottest Area Artists

The Janes

The Next Worldwide Pop Phenomenon?

Who: They’ve been the talk of the music industry for months: Meet The Janes, a pop/R&B girl group based in New York, featuring members from Long Island and Queens – Jaime, Kelly, Llyra, Tayla, and Bella – merges dance rhthyms, sex appeal, and pop craftsmanshop. The group was created by music industry heavyweights Donnie Klang and Matthew LaPorte in 2011. Since their formation, the group has been busy performing live, and recently released a new single: From The Band’s Bio: “’Can’t Let Go’ is pop / dance song with a hint of Caribbean musical elements. The lyrics are inspired by thoughts in the mind after a breakup and the internal aggravation of wanting to not want to be in love anymore. The melodic verses showcase the talent of the vocalists in the group while the infectious repetitive chant during the hook ‘I can't let go’ represents the repetitive thoughts that run through the mind fresh after a breakup. The music video (now on YouTube) enhances the summery feel of the record, with epic shots of the girls at the beach while the sun glares off the camera. The video captures the passion The Janes have for their music as well as showcases their choreography and comradeship as a group. The song is a fresh, catchy, relatable, breakout radio ready hit for the summer of 2016.” Althrough the group is still quite new, The Janes have already achived more than one million streams on Spotify during the past year. Their Instagram account has been growing as well, currently boasting more than 80,000 followers; the group also has more than 60,000 subscribers on YouTube, with a combined view count of more than two million. The new single, "Can't Let Go" has earned more than 90,000 views since its late June release. More about these young women: Llyra grew up in Queens and was born in Venezuela; Kelly is from Connecticut; Bella, who grew up in Oakdale in Suffolk County, won a Sayville’s Got Talent competition at the age of 13; Tayla is from Lindenhurst; and Jamie, the group’s only “out of towner,” hails from Boston. JoJo’s All Grown:

Mixing With The Big Boys

Now 25, Atlantic recording artist JoJo's new album, Mad Love, will be released on October 14. The album is preceded by the astoundingly titled new single, “F*** Apologies (Feat. Wiz Khalifa),” now available at iTunes and all DSPs. JoJo is currently showcasing tunes from Mad Love on a North American arena/amphitheater tour alongside the red-hot Fifth Harmony, with dates continuing through mid-September. JoJo’s first new album since 2006 sees the singer/songwriter partnering with a number of top pop producers, including Max Martin/Wolf Cousins’ Oscar Holter, Whiskey Water, and songwriter Justin Tranter (Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Gwen Stefani). Full details – including tracklisting and complete credits – will be unveiled soon. Some history: JoJo was only 13 when she first reached the charts with the classic pop hit “Leave (Get Out)” in 2004. Charlie Puth

Dee’s Day:

New Sounds

Long our pick as “Long Island's Coolest Musician,” Dee Snider isn't resting on his Twisted Sister laurels: “I’ve never been about living in the past,” Snider said. “The past is wonderful to reflect on and enjoy, but for me, I’d rather show you the latest thing I’ve been working on. I’m all about looking ahead, and this new record is very much about me moving forward.” Snider's new solo album, We Are The Ones, will be released in October. Produced by Damon Ranger, the album features a wide pallet of styles in its new songs, from the call-to-arms manifesto of “Rule The World,” to the anthemic bonding of “So What” (complete wit a string section), to the synth-driven “Close to You,” to the thematically soaring “Superhero.” A highlight is a newly re-recorded acoustic version of “We’re Not Gonna Take It,” tapped as the official anthem for The Recording Academy’s advocacy efforts, including the “Fair Play Fair Pay” Act. The tour accompanied the release of Puth’s RIAA gold-certified debut album, Nine Track

Mind, which made a remarkable chart debut upon its January release, arriving at #5 on Billboard’s “Top Current Albums chart,” fueled by the two-time RIAA platinum certified singles “One Call Away” and “Marvin Gaye (Featuring Meghan Trainor).” More: charlieputh.com.

“The response has already been amazing. Can't wait to let my fans in on the life I've been living the last few years pursuing my dreams.” Spreading good vibes, the always positive Lane launched Skylar the #SunshineMovement via Grey videos and social media, encouraging others to spread joy, pay it forward and make their own sunshine. Garnering media attention for her effervescent personality and powerhouse vocals, Lane has been selected as selected for iTunes Country New Artist Spotlight, and earned healdines in several national publications. She also recently made her national TV debut on Hallmark Channel’s “Home & Family.”

co-written by Jayson DeZuzio, is featured on her upcoming album due this fall. Veering in and out of a driving electro beat and harmonic swell, “Off Road” showcases Grey’s spirit with an invigorating invitation to stray from the path most traveled. “Off Road is a summer jam about adventure,” said Grey. “I'm always looking to explore uncharted territory and try new things to expand my horizons. Here’s a little backstory on how the song came to be … it all began with a track by Jayson DeZuzio that I was obsessed with. The first time I tried writing to it, my song didn’t do the track justice so it got put away. Then about a year later, he wrote me and said that another artist was interested in taking the track, so I said “WAIT! Let me try writing to it one more time…” So I rewrote to the track that very night, and the result was 'Off Road.'” Learn more about this multi-facted artist at skylargreymusic.com, or find her all over social media.
