What will schools need for outdoor and remote learning? Be ready for both the expected and unexpected. As schools reopen around the globe, different test models are being used. Some are opting for staggered schedules, smaller class sizes or a mix of remote and in-person learning as well as spending more time outdoors. Outdoor transmission of COVID-19 is known to be much lower than when indoors. The reopening guidelines from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and in Canada, the Government on Canada and The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) include recommendations for students and teachers to spend more time outside for all subjects, including Phys Ed. The following pages have a variety of multipurpose solutions that support outdoor classrooms and Phys Ed, aid in reducing the spread of germs and help create remote learning set ups. 2

With modified layouts to support physical distancing and the diversity of activities happening outdoors, flexible furniture plays a role in making it easier for teachers and students to be productive and enjoy their time together. These products help manage devices and other classroom tools, aid in remote learning and many can be easily moved outside to help create a similar experience as an indoor classroom or Phys Ed class. Plus, with a little planning, the storage options will help reduce trips back into the school!
Really tough, easy to clean and move around Our tubs and frames have been tested with Caviwipes (medical grade disinfection wipes) and bleach diluted to 2:10. Before they can go to market, our casters are stress-tested using our caster testing machine that repeatedly rolls them over obstacles while loaded down with weight. The frames of our products are made from thick square steel tubing. This is the same gauge that industrial stainless steel kitchen sinks are built from. So it is fair to say that our frames can handle everything AND a portable sink! (see page 11)

Small Class Sizes: The new normal Many schools are considering smaller class sizes and different configurations, Tech Tubs can adapt to almost any setup.
Encourages physical distancing Placing tubs around the classroom, allows more distance between students and reduces deployment bottlenecks. A large charging cart doesn’t provide the same opportunities.
Future-proofing: A typical charging cart can’t do this The CDC suggests that schools be ready for future outbreaks.
