What characterises the world of Luxury Childrenswear for Spring/ Summer 2019? Surely a more extensive attention to all that is respect of the environment and a greater control over matters related to ethics and sustainability when it comes to manufacturing. Luxury is no longer characterised only by the exclusivity or preciousness of materials and production techniques but it is now also and mainly about a careful supply chain that provides step by step the right awareness for professional ethics, respect for the environment, the use of non-toxic, recyclable and zero impact on the environment materials. The respect of the zero mile policy is also very much appreciated in order to guarantee the least possible use and waste of energy. It really seems that the era of indifference, made of unrestrained possession and consumption and indifferent to everything that this attitude causes, is really on its way out. The real ‘wealth’ today is given by the ability of becoming aware and active in a process of improvement in terms of respect of our Planet, of those who live on it and of the fruits that it offers us. Aware of the success of this new trend, I introduce you to the contents of this new issue, where young children fashion blends aesthetically more and more with that of teens and tweens - not by chance, the ambassador of this issue is Alisa, both in an exclusive editorial and on the cover - and with babywear, giving rise to a single large chorus made of colours, prints, shapes and genres, all mixed together to create a harmonious aesthetic symphony without barriers, where joy as well as creativity predominate. Design and wellbeing are also influenced by this global trend aimed at enhancing, even in the most ‘clean’ details, the uniqueness and the peculiarities of each object or product. Finally, the Reports of a selection of international industry Trade Shows enable us to provide a reading of the real “mood” in the international markets.

Che cosa caratterizza questa primavera/estate 2019 nel mondo del Bambino di Lusso? Sicuramente un’attenzione più estesa a tutto ciò che è rispetto e maggiore controllo per etica e sostenibilità. Il lusso non è più caratterizzato solo da esclusività o pregiatezza di materiali e fatture ma anche e principalmente da un’attenta filiera di lavoro che preveda in ogni suo passo una giusta consapevolezza per etica professionale, rispetto dell’ambiente, uso di materiali atossici, riciclabili o ad impatto zero sull’ambiente. Molto apprezzato anche il rispetto dei ‘Km 0’ in modo da garantire il minor spreco di energie possibile. Sembra davvero che l’era del qualunquismo fine a se stesso, fatta di possesso e consumo sfrenato indifferente a tutto che tale atteggiamento causa, sia davvero al suo tramonto. La vera ‘ricchezza’ oggi è data dalla capacità di rendersi consapevoli e attivi in un processo di miglioramento nel rispetto del nostro pianeta, di chi lo abita e dei frutti che ci offre. Auspicando un successo di questo nuovo trend vi introduco a quelli che sono i contenuti di questo numero, dove la moda bambino esteticamente si fonde sempre più a quella del Teen (non a caso, la testimonial di questo numero è Alisa, in un editoriale esclusivo e nella cover a lei dedicata) e del Baby, dando origine ad un’unica grande corale fatta di colori, stampe, fogge e generi tutti mischiati a creare una sinfonia estetica armoniosa e senza barriere, dove l’allegria predomina e la creatività pure. Anche il design e il wellbeing risentono di questa influenza volta ad esaltare, anche nei dettagli più ‘clean’, l’unicità e le peculiarità di ogni oggetto o prodotto. In fine i report di una selezione delle Fiere di settore internazionali, in grado di darci il reale “mood” di mercato nel mondo. by Roberta Bindi
