This Fourth of July, make it a safe holiday...

DON'T FOOL WITH

FIREWORKS As with many other communities in Colorado, personal fireworks are prohibited within the town of Windsor. Using anything that explodes or leaves the ground is not allowed and can result in a $510 fine. More importantly, personal fireworks pose a serious fire and safety risk. Even sparklers, which can burn anywhere from 1800°F to 3000°F—which is hot enough to melt gold—are dangerous, especially to children. While most people love fireworks, Windsor Police and Windsor Severance Fire Rescue ask that you leave them to the professionals.
