WINDSOR MATTERS JUNE 2021

We’re Better Together

Resident Feedback Informs Service and Project Improvements It’s no secret that Windsor is growing, and as we do, planning for our future is more important than ever. Adapting the infrastructure of our community—our amenities, roadways, water systems and more—is vital to ensuring we can support growth. Town staff routinely engage in detailed planning processes for all aspects of the town’s infrastructure in order to find the best way to move forward. There are many steps that go into such planning, but one of the most important is gathering public input. As town staff, it is our duty to provide services for our residents. Gathering detailed and thoughtful public input helps us understand and meet the needs of the community. One of the best ways to provide your

opinion on our projects is through our Project Connect website. By visiting windsorgov.com/ProjectConnect and signing up, you can find detailed information about current planning projects and provide feedback, all of which is directly seen and reviewed by staff. The feedback we receive on these projects helps shape the final result of the process and is ultimately used by Town Board to help guide funding priorities and goals.

Some of our current public input projects include our Windsor Snow & Ice Removal Community Survey, Open Space & Trails Planning and our Communications Preferences Survey. We greatly value all of the input and feedback we receive, as it helps guide decision-making for years to come. It is this free exchange of information that makes communities like ours strong and helps ensure we grow sustainably and responsibly.

Stay engaged with the Town of Windsor! Influence project outcomes by providing input at windsorgov.com/ProjectConnect.
