Founded in 1912, Reddish Vale Golf Club is home to a magnificent golf course which was designed by world famous golf course architect, Dr Alistair MacKenzie. One of the most interesting and spectacular golf courses in Manchester, Reddish Vale has a proud history, whilst keeping abreast of modern technology to drive to club forward into the future.
The award comes as a testimony to everyone associated to the golf club, recognising Reddish Vale's wonderful golf course as well as clubhouse and practice facilities as well as the first class hospitality shown to visitors, society groups and corporate guests throughout the year.
Set in an urban area secluded from the outside world, RVGC is situated six miles from the centre of Manchester but a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

100 acres of picturesque parkland creates a quirky and fun golf course with risk and reward a prominent feature as with many of MacKenzie’s designs. Rich in natural features, hazards and magical contours; the course measures 6,000 yards in length and presents an enjoyable yet stern challenge for even the most accomplished of golfer. As testimony to its manicured fairways, Reddish Vale Golf Club was selected as the host of the Balfour Cup in 2012, one of the oldest golf competitions to be played in the north west of England.

South Cliffe House - the Reddish Vale clubhouse is a stone built manor house which has overlooked the Vale since Victorian times. Boasting breath-taking panoramic views of the golf course and beyond, as far as the Peak District, the recently refurbished clubhouse building features fresh, modern décor whilst showcasing the traditional elements of the game.
Reddish Vale’s friendly helpful staff are highly attentive as they serve guests in the comfortable lounges which house fully-stocked bars and daily menus providing bar snacks and hearty meals.
The golf club extends a warm welcome to visitors and society groups throughout the year.
