HEART OF WALES GOLF BREAKS 01597 828 598 | sales@heartofwalesgolfbreaks.co.uk www.heartofwalesgolfbreaks.co.uk

The region of Mid Wales is a true delight to visit. Scattered with spectacular scenery, unspoilt landscapes and quaint market towns, this part of the world is ideal for those seeking a relaxing golf break in truly stunning surroundings. With ease of access from all parts of the UK and boasting some of the country’s finest inland golf courses, The Heart of Wales is an absolute must for all golf enthusiasts. A million miles away from the hustle and bustle of city life lies three remarkable golf courses. The first of these is Llandrindod Wells Golf Club, which was designed in 1908 by golfing legend Harry Vardon. This stunning moorland course is a joy to play with superb greens and fairways where the ball “sits up” invitingly almost guaranteeing a great shot to the next hole. Llandrindod Wells is a real “must play” golf course. The second course is Builth Wells Golf Club, an 18 hole parkland course which was established in 1926 as a 9 hole course and expanded in 1987 to its current 18 holes.

The course is really a tale of two halves with the front nine being a more traditional parkland layout whilst the back nine is full of guile and hazards to defeat the unwary golfer. A superb “club golfer’s” course which will encourage you to come back again and again. The final course of the three is Cradoc Golf Club. Situated just outside the market town of Brecon, Cradoc is a traditional parkland course laid out some 40 years ago by veteran Scottish designer C K Cotton around Penoyre Mansion. The course offers unrivalled views of the Brecon Beacons National Park, is one of the most popular parkland courses in Wales and is always a joy to play.

Whilst these three courses are set within a 20 mile area, they are all very different in character and offer the visiting golfer three very different challenges making a golf break to the Heart of Wales one that you will remember for a very long time.
