A note from Ann and Denise‌ Dear Friends, We hope that you have all had a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones and that you are keeping warm this winter season! We wanted to kick off 2012 with a bang and decided to bring you a surprise mini edition of the Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Magazine. In this issue, we are showcasing some of the beautiful creations that our design team has created using the new images, sentiments, and dies that were released on January 18. We also wanted to take a little bit of time to look back at the wonderful year of Whimsy Stamps products that we released in 2011 by bringing back some of our favorite creations from last year. Giraffes in love

Why Iris chose this card: My absolute favorite card I made in 2011 is definitely “Giraffe’s in Love”! I LOVE these animals and whenever I can I visit our local zoo (of course I have an annual pass ;-) ) where you can feed and pet these gentle giants. They have the most beautiful big brown eyes! So no wonder when I saw this stamp by Crissy Armstrong that I fell instantly in love with it.

I love the image and the contrast of white on white with the rich red and green. It's something I can only rarely achieve, as I tend to overload everything with distress inks.

This image and the colors too remind me of all those Happy Child Hood Memories I have.
